What a great place! Don't be turned off by the lack of photos. Its a beautiful old building (completely renovated, the room was brand new) just a 4 minute walk from the train station in Meta, near Serranto. I don't know if we just got lucky but the host welcomed us with hazelnut gelato and sent us away with a big bottle of mineral water. The breakfast (included) was amazing, tasty and super fresh. We'll definitely stay there again.

This place is not for everyone - if you want TV and white decor, go elsewhere. If you want to stay in a room, decorated artistically and colourfully, surrounded by an incredible garden grown over 40 years with glasshouses full of books, buddhas and spaces to chill, stay here. If you want a host who will tell you, with integrity, the cool places to go, without commission or corruption, stay here. Maria is a magnificent host with a wonderful philosophy of providing a special place for travellers and showing off her culture. There is wi-fi, air-con and good water pressure in shower. It's in a beautiful area and close to Circumvesuviana train station so very convenient. Thanks Maria - see you again one day, i hope.

Casa Nannina has to be one of the best accommodations that I've experienced! Clean, comfortable, efficient service, great breakfast (fresh produce from a small farm about 15 metres away), wonderful hosts and unrivalled hospitality! Chris and Angela (I hope the names are spelled correctly) goes above and beyond to accommodate the guests. (Chris even picked up my wife and I from a random spot in Meta one evening because we got lost). The place offers an authentic experience and would be a good hub to explore Amalfi Coast. The place is accessible via public transport (15-min walk to train station; 10-min walk to bus stop), but I think it would be best if you rent a car (there's a free parking area). All in all, can't recommend this place enough! I'd definitely return someday!
