Great Ryokan Experience”
Clean, well maintained place just about 10 minutes hotel transfer ride from Jomo Kogen Station where we touched down from Tokyo. Rooms are very clean with in room bathrooms and toilet. However our only fret was bathroom hot water didn't last for more than 5 mins as they encourage guests to go public onsen to bath (in the nude of course) which we are not comfortable with and ended up rushing our bath time before the hot water supply ran out each time. My aunt particularly enjoyed the kaiseki dinner that came with diy bbq and ended with a sukiyaki. Hotel staff had poor command of english but able to understand basic needs. On our first night, they made a call to us for dinner which we assumed was in-room, waited for 30 mins and they called us again. However the only word we understood was dinner, and after awhile we realised the dinner was actually in the public resto. No issues on that though and laughed among ourselves waiting silly in the room. Onsen came with full amenities for bathing including makeup remover, moisturiser and necessity toiletries. Next morning breakfast was served at another resto we were surprised at the sumptous spread served japanese style. Hotel also provided shuttle back to Jomo Kogen, making it a breeze for us travelling back. Price-wise was the best we could find for it's standard.

I went to this place a few months ago , really pleasant and clean rooms and onsen but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. 2 meals included are the most impression. The third ryokan we stayed at during a 10-day trip. And the best. ”
We were already impressed by the professionalism upon arrival, as the parking attendant approached and greeted us by our names. We should be the only non Japanese guests there (though being Chinese myself i cannot always tell the two apart). But them making sure that all staff remember names of guests is a detail that i didnt expect from a rural establishment. We didnt need to say our room number or name either and were led to the table reserved at the restaurant. The staff are professional and thoughtful. My daughter was offered a toy car as parting present. For us adults, the cleanliness was unbeatable. The room was spotless. So was the public bath. The outdoor one was beautiful. In short, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Except that its too short.

The service and food were excellent! They also have 2 public baths that you can experience, which they will alternate between male and female. Room was clean and big! Overall a very enjoyable stay! Well recommended!

Als 85kg Mann jeden Abend gekämpft um die Menge an Essen zu vertilgen, abhängig nach Tagesform wurde dies mal mehr und mal weniger erreicht. Super freundliches Personal und sehr schöne Onsen. Gerne wieder mal👍🏻

建物・部屋古いが、どこも整理整頓されてて、クリーンで快適。 従業員さん達の接客も嫌味がなく爽やかで気持ちが良い。夜食は炭火焼で焼くのが楽しく、朝食は蒸し物で一工夫され好印象。温泉は3箇所あるが、かわせみの湯・たまゆらの湯が雰囲気良くおススメ。朝食会場から見える雪の谷川岳はすばらしく、他のお客さんからも歓声があがっていた。

นี่เป็นครั้งที่ 2 ที่ได้เข้าพักที่นี่ พนักงานยังคงให้บริการประทับใจดีมากๆ ไม่ต้องกังวลเรื่องภาษาเพราะมีเครื่องแปลใช้คุยกัน มีรถรับ-ส่งจากสถานีรถไฟและยังไปส่งที่ลานสกีใกล้ๆอีกด้วย เพราะวันนั้นที่ Gala Yuzawa ปิดพอดีเนื่องจากลมแรง Private Bath ก็ยังสะอาดและดีเหมือนเดิม เนื่องจากเราเข้าพัก 2 คืน อาหารเย็นเลยไม่ซ้ำกัน คืนแรกเป็นแบบ Keiseki ซึ่งก็อร่อยดี และคืนที่ 2 เป็นแบบ Irori โดยส่วนกันชอบแบบนี้มาก พนักงานให้บริการดี พูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ ทำให้เข้าใจส่วนผสมของอาหารและวิธีการทานอย่างละเอียด ขนมในห้องก็อร่อยจนต้องซื้อกลับมาหลายอย่าง สรุปประทับใจที่นี่มากและจะกลับไปอีกเป็นครั้งที่ 3 อย่างแน่นอน
