No, no and no”

I live in hotels most of the time. It is the first time that I walked away from a place that I already booked and paid, and go find another place (that was actually cheaper!). This place stinks. just don't go there. ever.

Building and facilities too old”

When we checked in, the TV is not working, no cable too. No blanket was provided, we even had to request for it. Rate was cheap but considering provincial rate, services and amenities can still be improved and upgraded.

Grim”

This place is grim. The cheapest we could find in San Jose but still not worth the money. Positive- air con. Negatives- sewage on street outside, no help with carrying bags upstairs ('security' man just sat watching tv and didn't even acknowledge us), dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, no toilet paper, no toilet seat, damp smelling room, door handle falling off, bare bulbs. Need I go on.....?

Worst hotel we have been in the philippines”

We got a room with the view inside a garage, the toilet was not working and most of the furniture falling apart... we asked to change get room and we got another room with the view on the garage, but this time over a huge electricity generator that made noise for 2 hours and sent the gas into our room, we got headache and was difficult to breathe... we got a third room, it had the toilet exploding water every time we used it, but at least this time we had no generator... so we kept it and will never come back.

Don't go here”

Mindoro Grand Hotel, San Jose (Mindoro Occidental), Philippines

Facility - old and rundown. The room door was plastic and hanging from the hinges - I had to pull it up in order to close the door. Bathroom door was also plastic and broken with no lock. Room size was okay but bathroom was like a closet. Hot water wasn't working. Toilet wasn't working. Staff - UNHELPFUL. Had to ask for towels, blankets, soap, and bathroom tissue.

Very bad, dirty hotel for this price”

Unfortunately I can say nothing good about this hotel

This hotel is far too expensive for what it offers to a customer. I cannot believe that we had a room that smelled badly, with a disgusting dirty bathroom with broken doors and a hole in the ceiling in the room. It was raining during the night and a ceiling started to leak! There was water all over the floor. We stayed there just for one night to be close to the airport but still I think it was a big mistake. There is no restaurant, they can offer just beer and water. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody.

I felt at home away from home!”

Quiet neighborhood - Privacy - Friendly, Responsive & Active staff

I was welcomed by the staff at entrance gate. The check-in time was 2pm but I was immediately checked-in though I arrived much early at 9am. Then I learned that 15 out of 18 rooms were vacant. The hotel's Front Booth (no Front Desk)is managed by 2 sweet young girls Cherry & Renalyn and Brian & Ryan take care of the maintenance work. Rooms are Large, clean & furnished but bathrooms are too small with poor plumbing. It was so inconvenient to take shower over the commode. I tried 3 rooms but flush did not work in any so I had to call maintenance guy after every use. Staff is very Attentive & Caring and ready to go out of the way to help round the clock ... but feel helpless to improve plumbing etc. :( So I moved to another hotel after 2 days though I was getting VIP Treatment there. There is no Internet or WiFi in this hotel. It is located on a quite street but not far away from busy Public Market and provides privacy home like atmosphere.

unfinished”

It is a bit hard to say anything good about this hotel apart from the lovely receptionist

The first room offered had no water. The second room had the worst CR I have ever used in the Philippines. Water not draining off floor. Broken door. Sometimes no water. I can only assume the CR was in the process of being replaced.I make this assumption because the main room was new looking.
