Upon arrival, the receptionist didn't even know that a booking was made. One of them was not very friendly. In the agoda page, it says that there is supposed to be a lift, but it is out of order. The room and bathroom smells, there are patches of mould in the bathroom.

great place to stay while you wait for ferry or bus, not much to do in san jose, great value for money, hot shower, air con, good restaurant on corner of street

Good for a stop over ”
We stayed here for 1 night to break from travelling and while we arranged our ticket for the ferry. , good place for 1 night. there is a good restaurant at the end of the street. good wifi, hot shower. Not much to do in san jose, TOP TIP, if you are after ferry tickets go the tourist office by the council building, they will book you a ticket, and tell you how to pay etc.

Decent overnight stay”
Stayed here 1 night to catch the early boat to Coron. It is 2 mins by tricycle from the van station, central but quiet. The room was very basic but clean.

Great for 1 night”
I arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning but the bed was comfortable. It was a little bit noisy from the karaoke over the road but that stopped eventually. The staff were great and one even walked me to a restaurant around the corner when I asked where I could get some food.

Just good enough for 1 night”
Nothing fancy. Hotel felt like a hospital, complete with white sheets, metal bed frame, and stark white bathroom. Windows needed dusting. Bathroom sink did not work. Wifi is unreliable. The main good things about it is that the rooms are a decent size and that it's WAY BETTER than its sister hotel, the Mindoro Grand Hotel (although that's not saying much). If it's a choice between the Mindoro Grand and the Mindoro Plaza, choose the Plaza. The Plaza's lobby is bigger and cleaner and the staff are more competent. It also has a "restaurant" where you can order breakfast.

Für eine Nacht okay!”
Das Hotel liegt zentral in San José. Bei unserem ersten Zimmer hat die Lampe, obwohl sie aus war, die ganze Nacht geblinkt. Das war etwas störend. Am zweiten Tag hatten wir das Zimmer gewechselt da das andere billiger war als über agoda in der ersten Nacht. Dort kam dann kaum Wasser aus dem Hahn. Also man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten aber für eine Nacht ist das Hotel völlig okay! Es War sauber und das Personal freundlich. Meine Meinung nach aber etwas zu teuer für das was man bekommt..
