The 200 years old Minshuku Goyomon lies amid Ainokura Village, a World Heritage Site with centuries old Gassho-style houses and a traditional local community. Rooms in the Japanese guest house feature tatami (woven-mat) flooring, Japanese futon bedding and sliding paper doors. Bathroom facilities are shared. Guests can experience a stay in a historical Japanese environment, and enjoy a Japanese meal in the dining area. There are some cafes within walking distance. Smoking is not allowed in the World Heritage park, and sightseeing is only allowed after the early morning and before dusk. Also private properties are off-limits, and trash must be taken home. Goyomon Minshuku is a 15-minute drive from Gokayama Onsen hot springs, and a 40-minute drive from historical village Shirakawa-go.

Scenic view, located up in the hilly village, need to hike up hill if u didn't arrange for pick up, very serene, perfect snow winter experience where u don't see many tourist around, owner is very friendly and helpful, very traditional room experience, hv hot bathtub and shower, the toilet is very advance too! Memorable stay

The dinner (6pm) and breakfast (8am) were prepared by the landlady herself and were super delicious. Our room was spacious enough for 4 futon beds. Would recommend to everybody who is visiting Shirakawa/Gokayama. Visited in the winter, there were gas heaters in every room. Hot tea was available through the whole day. During dinner when the landlady prepared the beds she also put hot-water bags into the futons, making them extra warm and comfy. The bath has a big tub, which the guests can use all day. Unlike written on websites you can leave the premise early in the morning as well as late at night. Guesthouses are generally more expensive, especially in this area, without having other experiences I would really recommend everyone to test it once.

The woman in charge is so friendly, and she made us a wonderful dinner and breakfast. I believe there are only two guest rooms, so there were just two other travelers during our stay. Sharing mealtime and sharing the bathroom created a nice, family atmosphere (the toilets are western style, and quite nice!). If you like a soft bed, you will find the futons a little hard, but it just adds to the "authentic farmhouse experience." Don't miss the two museums during your stay, especially the Traditional Industry Museum, where you can try your hand at playing the sasara (musical instrument). Overall a great experience, and I'm so glad we stayed here.

The hut is in perfect location at the center of Ainokura village. Staff is super nice. The room is also clean. Nice dinner of grilled fish. We love this.

Amazing world heritage house”
Staying one night here is quite a heritage experience. This house is one of the Gassho heritage building kept as part of the world heritage site. Walking around the village an amazing experience! The walls between the rooms are traditional style paper door, so be prepared to hear your neighbors’ snores.

Come to Ainokura and Stay at Goyomon”
Minshu in Ainokura is the best amongst the 3 Unesco Heritage sites. (to me) Suganuma is a little run down and Shirakawago is a tad too touristy. Would definitely go back (if time & budget) permits to witnes the remaining seasons. Tks

快適な設備、美味しい食事に親切なオーナー”
世界遺産の合掌造りの宿に泊まってみたくて、口コミを参考にしてこちらを選びました。 バス停からは近いのですが、積雪の為電話をし車で迎えに来て頂きました。 館内の設備は清潔で快適、お布団もふかふかで、囲炉裏端で頂く食事も大変美味しく、量も丁度良いものでした。 すぐ隣にはお土産物や食事が出来るお店があり、夕食迄周辺を散策、展望台も近く素敵な集落の写真も撮れました。 お風呂もあるのですが、オーナーが車で近くの温泉施設まで送迎して下さりそちらも楽しむことが出来ました。 コスパも良く、五箇山に来たら又是非泊まりたいです。 親切なオーナーに感謝!

比白川乡幽静的多的小村庄”
女主人服务态度很好，伙食最然简单，但口味不错，可以真正吃到日本人家庭平时吃的东西，如果要体验真正的合掌村，和日本乡下的感觉，介意来五个山，白川乡的商业气息实在太浓，也没有乡下的感觉，这个相仓合掌村真的很不错，就是一定要记得预约好班车，可能相对而言交通没那么方便，但我感觉真的值得来，很不错的。

交通：當初以爲在白川鄉中，其實不是，需要再搭公車約45分鐘到達相倉口，再走路約10分鐘（ㄧ定要查班次，因爲ㄧ個小時ㄧ班而已，從白川鄉出發，最晚四點要搭，不然沒車，自己走路要七個小時） 住宿體驗：老闆娘是一個很好的人，會ㄧ點點英文溝通，住在和室當中，入住當天隔壁還有ㄧ家日本人住，因是和室隔著和室門，會聽到旁邊聲音，但這是很特別體驗！晚上及隔天早上有提供參點，很日式的料理，很喜歡！
