Offering panoramic views of the Shouf Mountains, this restored 19th-century palace offers air-conditioned rooms with antique furniture. It has a spacious terrace and a restaurant overlooking Beiteddine Palace. Mir Amin Palace’s spacious rooms and suites are decorated with antique beds and bright colours. Some include a seating area and views of the Shouf Mountains. All come with a satellite TV, and slippers and bathrobes are in the private bathroom. In the summer, Italian-inspired cuisine is served at the restaurant, while traditional Lebanese dishes are available in the winter. Guests can enjoy live music and light snacks on the terrace or drinks from the Piano bar. Its outdoor pool is surrounded by a mosaic terrace, and there is a courtyard with fountains. Great old building which is kept in excellent condition. Staff are irreplaceable especially Nabih al Baker.

Old world ambience, but really, just old”
Nice enough weekend retreat in a beautiful historical setting. However, the hotel was a bit run down and could do with some renovation. Food was not hotel standard. Service was not particularly friendly. All in all, not great value for money. They even charged an extra fee for parking, which you think would be waived given the room charges!

Un endroit hors du temps, magnifique et magique... Quelques amélioration à prévoir pour mettre aux normes certains aspects techniques mais cela n’entache pas la beauté du lieu, où l’on se sent bien. Prendre la suite 101 pour la vue piscine et montagnes :)
