I had a business trip as a graduate student and it's really good for a student's budget. Also, the location of the hotel is pretty near to Chiba Station which makes this more convenient for travelers. The staff was helpful even though they were not speaking in English, the room was also clean and comfortable for me.

Disturbing music in the midnight”
The hotel is very close to Chiba station and it was a skating ring (around 1500 yen for adult) outside of the hotel when we were there during January 20 to 22, 2023. There are good Ramen just at the left corner outside for the hotel and a sake & business super (they welcome everyone) near by (close to monorail station). The two negative things are first of all, no microwave so we couldn't really make some extra to our meal. Second, the worst and the reason we don't recommend this hotel is "the background music"! There is a music playing all day long beven in the midnight. It is in very low volume, however in the night when you sleep or even when we don't talk and watch television, we can hear it. In the night, we were waking up many times from time to time due to it. Even my wife had her sound blocker in her ears, she said that she can hear it probably during to its frequency. So it was disturbing and waking you up every a while. We cannot really have a good rest with it. That's the main reason we don't recommend this hotel for our fellow travelers until the condition changes.

I love the location of Mitsui Garden its very centralized and convenient to move around, the shops, restos are within walking distance.Its also easily accesible to any kind of transportation. Most of all the facilities are great and staff very kind. One downside of this hotel however is the early check out of the hotel policy at 11am I think its very early.

This is my second time staying here. We booked the big room (4 beds for 4 people) that ‘s very big and comfortable. Everything is good. Location is also nice, not far from Chiba station or if you’re lazy to walk, you can come here by bus ( 1 stop) or taxi (about ¥800). There are many restaurants and minimarts around the hotel. If you have a car, there’s a parking (¥1500 per night).

Great hotel located very close to 800 year-old Chiba Shinto Shrine. "A beautiful Shinto shrine near Chiba Castle that is dedicated to the Chiba Clan’s tutelary deity, Myoken, a deification of the North Star and the constellation Ursa Major often associated with Ame-no-minakanushi-no-mikoto." Worth a visit, especially at New Year's.

No aircond simply heater when on the aircond switch”
I had a hard time sleeping as no aircond in the room. It was air heater and stuffy. At least we managed to open the window to allow some cold airs coming in. Otherwise, the hotel is acceptable and staff were great. Located not too near to chiba station.
