Lovely place to meet people and make new friends”
I like my stay at MNL boutique Hostel. The Hostel was nice and cozy, clean room with cool decoration. There is a small kitchen and a common room with computer and wifi for internet access (the wifi didnt work in our room, tho). I arrived Manila with no plan in advance, however, thanks to the other travelers I met there, I had a pleasant trip. Good place to make friends, especially at the BYOB (bring your own beer)event held every night. There is a food market nearby the hostel where you can get local food, and plenty of bars across the street. It would be more appreciate if the hostel make up my room during my stay and give me more clean towels. Even though it was not a big deal for me, but come on, I stayed for 5 consecutive days and didnt have my room cleaned for once. And it would be more helpful if there are maps of the area/train station/Makati city/main tourist attractions available to give out for guess. I felt a bit helpless walking around such a big city without a map. The staffs seems to know very limited about their city as I didn't get good recommendations on what and where to eat; where, and how to go in and around Manila

Stay and play at MNL”
Located at the heart of the Makati business district, MNL Boutique Hostel is best for backpackers and travelers who don't want to spend on lodging but want a good night's rest after a day's adventure. The hosts are accommodating, warm and are more than happy to teach you your way around --whether it's just within the city or to your island of choice. Shopping malls and restaurants are all within walking distance. Breakfast is served til 10am, bathrooms are clean and bedrooms are spot on. A common room is available where you can hangout and meet fellow travelers and locals. Watch out for their themed nights and know why it's more fun in the Philippines! Feel free to play some music or bring your own booze or share your own travel stories. Stay and play at MNL

best hostel/guesthouse ever! feels like home ”
i must say that staying at mnl boutique hostel is my best experience while staying in manila. it's close to everything by walking distance.. food, entertainment and etc.. the owner, greet us with smile and she is so friendly and helpful. though the room is small but it still worth the price with the cleanliness of the bathroom and pantry. breakfast is fine with toast and banana. wifi connection is stronger at the lounge area where you can sit and relax or do some reading or even mingle around with other travelers.

Immaculate white linens/sheets/towels smell good ”
MNL Hostel, Makati City Philippines is a home away from home. The owners & staff are like family to all the guest. Willing to help/guide & very hospitable (serving complimentary drinks & tv time finger food for all the guest at the lounge. They make sure that everyone would feel personally attended to. Imagine with few Euros (8) one gets decent breakfast, good smelling clean immaculate white linens/sheets/towels that will be changed by their always accomodating, staff with plastered smile! Most importantly, the comfort rooms are daily clean & sanitized! Garbage are collected in each room religiously! what else can you ask for. And, yes, everybody are contagiously happy & sharing ... No wonder, there are consultants, researchers, filmmakers from different parts of the globe that checks-in for 1-2-3 months... I remember a French & an American who stays at MNL for 2 months. Filipinos who instead of driving back & forth daily to their countryside residence prefer to stay in MNL for 2-3 nights rather than go home during strong rains. So many things that can do one good at MNL!!!

Excellent!”
MNL was a the perfect choice for Manila. The staff consisting of Red (Facilities Manager), Itoy (Security), Gonz (Good Times Manager), and the owners Salina and Micah were very friendly, inviting, and included the guests in many activities. Red did a really nice job keeping the hostel clean and socializing with guests. The location is also great. Close to the action on Makati, but just far enough away to get a good night's sleep (in the air con). The hostel is set up to encourage travelers to meet and chat, which always seems to be happening. Thanks for a great time!

I was very pleased to stay at MNL Boutique Hostel. Celina, Red, Gonz, Brix and Malla who worked and managed the Hostel had made my 3-day stay in Makati worthwhile plus the customers were pretty cool. The bed was comfortable and the price value of my stay was cheap and the place was very safe for me stay. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will stay again on my next trip!

Great Stay, Great Location”
Our stay at MNL was our debut for the Philippines and set a nice standard for decent budget accomodation. The location is one of the best parts about this nice little hostel. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and helped us plan getting to our next destination(which can be quite daunting at first). It has a great hostel vibe. We stayed in an AC room, it was quite noisy but you realise that it's normal for any hostel in a built up area. The room wash it's comfortable for the price, and in walking distance to great local food as well as insane boutique eateries. Checkout the 'Hole in the wall', only a block away from MNL on the top level of one of the many shopping malls in the area. It's a must!

Excellent”
MNL in an unpretentious hostel in an excellent location in Makati. It's quiet inside even though there is a hustle bustle outside. My mattress was soft and the WiFi was excellent. For this price, I expected a cold water shower; I was delighted to find hot water! Other places charge for a towel while MNL provided a towel as a matter of course. The place could be a little cleaner, but for the price, I am not going to complain. My only complaint was the air conditioning. It was turned up far too high and I could not adjust it. That would have been OK if I showed up with a blanket, but I didn't. I couldn't sleep because it was too cold. I recommend you book a fan room if possible or take a private room and control the AC yourself. When I go to Makati the next time, I will buy a cheap throw-away blanket and book myself into MNL.

Great place to hang out in Manila”
MNL is a fresh new place run by a young team which can deliver. All the rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. The beds ohh my god, the best beds i slept on for last 2 months. Staff is friendly helpfull and allways goes the extra step for the guests. To be honest we paid the cheapest price i could find in Manila through Agoda and got a good room with breakfast all the info we needed of Manila and lat checkout. The hostel kept our bags until we found where to store the rest and all for o extra money. The wifi worked in the living room and showers were amazing, imagine the water does run through all the holes of shower head, not like elsewhere

Makati gem”
The key value of MNL is their staff performance and friendliness. Clean rooms and toilets/bathroom for any hostel/dorm standards. Breakfast provided but they're as simple as they can be, ample though. Wi-Fi available but can be improved, non the less, free wi-fi, can't argue with that. Day trips are arranged by staffs as well, keep an eye for those. Pleasant stay in Makati and might consider coming back if I am back in Manila.

Prime location with great value, A+ staff”
we stayed in mnl overnight and had the time of our lives! this is perfect for backpackers who are up for socializing and exchanging travel stories with other guests and the very friendly, youthful staff. the rooms are clean and the linen is hotel-grade as advertised. one major selling point is its prime location within makati. one can easily walk to major shopping centers and get a taste of manila nightlife too. will definitely recommend to friends who want to visit the philippines.

Great staff, great atmosphere. ”
I had a blast at MNL. Originally planned to only stay for a couple nights before moving somewhere else, but I decided to stay at MNL. Great people, great atmosphere for meeting other travelers, the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Located in Makati, a more up-scale city in Manila. Close to shopping, grocery store, and night food market. Pretty easy access to MRT, and relatively easy/cheap to get to Manila airport by taxi. Highly recommend for those in Manila, especially if you are interested in a chilled out environment great for meeting fellow travelers.

convenient and comfortable stay on a budget”
It was my first time to stay in a hostel in Makati and I'm so happy I chose MNL Boutique Hostel! I stayed in a 4-bed female dormitory on the 2nd floor and I had awesome roommates as a bonus. The restrooms and shower areas were clean and the room was comfortable. The continental breakfast spread was enough to fuel guests through the morning. It was a good experience mingling with fellow hostel guests which asked for directions and itinerary suggestions. I'd love to stay here on my next solo trip to Makati.

Finally, a Hostel in Manila with equal parts style and substance! Location is perfect for going around the city and other areas within metro manila as Makati is an awesome start-off point for your daytrips! 2-5 minutes away by foot is a Complex with a wide array of dining options and a huge supermarket should you wish to buy groceries for food instead. lovely hostel, big enough for you to move around and the common area's homey vibe is conducive to making your nights with newfound friends even more comfortable.
