Lovely hotel with incredible views of Mt. Fuji”

This hotel is very cozy and highly recommended if you want to relax and enjoy the views of Mt. Fuji from your room or even inside the bathtub. The food was delicious and incredibly healthy and the owner/staff was very polite and very very nice. The Yamanaka lake was just an easy 5 minute hike down if you want to see the perfect reflection of the mountain on the water in the morning. My only minor gripe about the hotel is the location which is not very accessible via public transport. However, the owner of the hotel would gladly pick you up anywhere around the lake and drop you off to your bus stop after checkout.

Cozy boutique hotel with a good view of Mt Fuji”

It was quite a challenge to find this hotel, even with the GPS. It was a pleasant stay with cozy comfort. the set up was just like a home. My room had a big window which open out to the direction of Mt Fuji. Alas, it was so misty and foggy in the morning. Mt Fuji was not visible at all! The morning breakfast, cooked by the host and served by the hostess was superb. It was so well cooked and quantity was good. That made up for the shy unvieled Mt Fuji. A good hotel to stay in this area.

Wonderful view, very attentive and friendly owner”

Very attentive staff with very decent English (also speaking a little French). Although the access was a bit difficult, the owner was very helpful and gave us some lift around and even offered us a 40min drive to the closest railway station. The house is a bit old but very clean, the view directly on Mount Fuji from the rooms is really great. The breakfast was gorgeous. A highly recommendable hotel.

A peaceful stay amid fantastic scenery”

Mr Suzuki and his family made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and served in a charming little dining room. The location of the hotel is tucked away amid dense trees and therefore very quiet and peaceful. There are one or two good restaurants nearby but many others further afield. The view of Mount Fuji from the hotel is truly outstanding, and the whole area around Lake Yamananako, at the foot of the mountain, is beautiful. The Autumn colours are stunning. The hot springs - about an hour's walk, or 20 minutes by cycle along the lakeside path - are well worth a visit. Bikes can be hired from the hotel or from a variety of hire shops around the lake. Everyone we met on our journey there and during our stay were very friendly, even when their English wasn't very good (our Japanese is non-existent!).

Great experince about cottage like hotel. Like it much, very silent and green surround, happy to be once again near future. Road entrance is not so good to hotel(It is be course gap of that land, But hotle name plate can not see when entaring to it.I will suggest to make hotel name plate in front of main road.

Feel warm like living home”

We booked this hotel at the last minute. Our expaction was to have the view of Fuji, Luckly, when we woke up in the morning, Fuji is in front of the window! You can even enjoy Fuji in the bath. Owner provides free transportation to bus station. Breakfast was health and fresh.

Nice and quiet Bed and Breakfast Inn”

We had a hard time to find this place as there were no signs of the name of the hotel in English. The owner must be a chef and turn his house where he and his wife live into a small home stay type with 6 bed rooms. All clean but must share bathroom and toilet. The home made breakfast with the most delicious omelette and sausage was superb.

Very good”

PROs: The bathroom is the best. Huge with large Jacuzzi and with a view of mt Fuji. Toiletries and even scented bath salts are provided. Rooms are cosy with large window view. Breakfast is yummy and serving is filling. A nice relaxing place to spend a couple of days with groups of friends, 6-12 ppl. CONs: Only one single toilet, shared with 4 rooms or 8ppl. It is small and the ventilation is poor and has cobwebs at corners of the wall. The location is obscure and the road leading to the house is very steep and narrow.

Lovely view of mount fiji ”

It is a pretty long walk with luggage to the hotel from the bus stop. If you have the number, you can call the owner and he will pick you up but we didnt have a phone to do that. The hotel is literally amoungst the trees, up the hill from the lakeside. Very peaceful surroundings and when mount fuji came out of the clouds for about one hour, it was lovely views. The owner is very friendly and breakfast was included. However, this was the most basic hotel we stayed in during our trip to japan and by far the most expensive. It had shared bathroom too. We felt it was very overpriced unfortunately and because of this we wouldnt recommend it.

Le propriétaire vient nous chercher au bus, et nous a reconduit à Gotemba (50 km) pour nous éviter d'attendre le bus. Chambre avec vue, petit déjeuner somptueux. Excellente adresse.

เจ้าของใจดีมาก บริการดีสุดๆ เจ้าพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี ตอนเข้าพักเจ้าของมารับที่ สถานีรถบัส yamanaka ส่วนขากลับเจ้าของขับรถไปส่งถึงสถาณี kawaguchiko ซึ่งห่างออกไปถึง 14กม ไปส่งฟรี! อาหารเช้าแบบฝรั่ง แฮม ใส้กรอก ออมเล็ต ส่วนทำเลอยู่กลางป่า ทำเลเงียบสงบดี เห็นฟุจิจากห้องพัก มีจักรยานให้เช่า แต่ต้องปั่นขึ้นเขาและเข้าป่า อาจจะไม่ค่อยเหมาะกับคนที่ไม่ได้เช่ารถ เพราะโดยรอบไม่มีร้านขายของหรือร้านอาหารเลย (แต่เจ้าของที่พักบริการดีมากก็ขับรถพาไปซื้อของถึงร้านสะดวกซื้ออีกฝั่งทะเลสาบเลย) เสียต้องห้องน้ำต้องแชร์ผลัดกันใช้ ในห้องพักแต่ละชั้น
