Was Closed Upon Arrival”

We made our reservation 1 week prior to coming down on 9/6/19. After we arrived from the airport, there was a sign on the door that stated they were closed until 9/16/19. We did not receive any calls or emails and had to find a hotel with availability and paid a higher price to stay. Luckily the hotel we chose upgraded us to a beachfront suite due to our troubles at 12:30am. Due to all this, I cannot leave a review above my current rating.

Very Disappoitning and NO POWER”

We stayed at the Motel 6 the night before our cruise was to leave out on Sunday. Their website was very misleading and showed the motel was closer to the beach, which it wasn't. The website also showed the rooms looking very nice and clean and they looked nothing like the pictures showed on the website. The sink would not drain the water out after you used it for washing your hands, brushing your teeth, etc. The shower did not have any water pressure at all to wash with. The Sunday we got up to get ready the power went out on half of the hotel, so we had to stand close to door to be able to use the only one plug that was working, we had to use our hair dryer first then unplug it and then plug up our hair straightener. We called and told them at the office that we did not have any power, they said they would send someone up to get it fixed. No one ever showed up to fix it. I told them when I checked out that he had no power to get ready in and they acted like they didn't care at all.

Overcharged”

Would not stay again. I was overcharged from the agreed price. Shower was completly restricted. WiFi worked but not strong.

Very poor”

WI-FI was inadequate, a/c too close to bed and therefore, poor circulation. Difficulty when staff shifts interchanged. Very haphazard and generally disorganised. A very bad experience all round.

I chose this motel because I did not have a choice due to very high hotel rates all around and sold out hotels during to a scheduled space launch. It served its purpose for a place to sleep, but I didn't feel safe to leave my room at night, plus could hear my neighbors who kept me up all night because so loud. The room was clean and the front desk staff was nice, I am just used to staying in 3-5 star hotels, so this just felt like a major step down for me. Just not the best choice for a solo, female traveler like myself.

Ok for the money! ”

The room was clean, but very sparse. No dressers for the clothes, no table or chairs, no microwave, fridge, etc. Just a very bare bones room. They don't even have pictures on the walls..lol. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and efficient. The pool is very nice and well maintained. All in all for the price and location, it was ok.

Improved facilities ”

At first I thought it was a little pricey for a motel 6 but the rooms facilities and staff were very clean and friendly, I enjoyed staying there…. I was fortunate to watch a stunt air show outside my door during my stay Cocoa beach is awesome! Loved my time there

My rating does not reflect the staff members. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was disgusting. I wouldn’t have cared in the least about the beds being old and squeaky, or the rooms being tiny. However, everything was extremely dirty. There were stains on the towels and sheets. There were tons of dead bugs in the light fixtures. You could not walk without shoes in the room. The floor had not been cleaned. There was soap scum and dirt in the bottom of the shower, and even a used bar of soap in the shower corner. We were there for maybe 12 hours, and had two rooms. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Poor housekeeping ”

The new housekeeping staff they have now don’t take they time and clean. I got move to three different room with all way half cleaned. The man at the front desk was very nice and understanding!
