I strongly recommend you people who want enjoy great food, exotic atmosphere, speedy response of kind staffs and the place located along the riverside in Hoi An. The hotel was not big but beautiful.The room was clean and well managed, the bed was comfortable and all amenities were well equipped. The view of river with a rooftop swimming pool was fantastic.Every tourism attraction is not only reachable on foot, but also bicycles are provided for free from the hotel. The hotel provides Spa service at the basement. Foot massage was great and also promotional Spa package was very attractive. Overall, I was very impressed with the kindness and warm consideration of the staffs. Personally, hotel staffs celebrated my mother's birthday with a beautiful cake and birthday song.What a surprise!! It was the last day in Vietnam and they gave us unforgettable impressions with their special treats and efforts for my family carefully from the beginning to the end.I definitely stay again if I come again!

We had such an amazing time at the Allegro hotel in Hoi An. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The staff greeted us with smiles and helpful information at every chance. They were so friendly and fabulous with my son who was not feeling well the first few days we were there as he was getting over the flu. The hotel itself is charming and lovely. You feel as though you have stepped back to a previous era that is welcoming and full of possibilities. The decor is beautiful and fits the theme of Hoi An very well. The pool is perfect and refreshing....the best spot to enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon before wandering the streets of the Ancient town. The location is great as it is only a few minutes walk to the Ancient town and a whole array of restaurants to choose from...but the Allegro's restaurant is so good that several nights we just stayed at the hotel for dinner and were very satisfied. Vietnamese are not particularly known for their hospitality and kindness, but the staff of this hotel were incredibly nice and warm, always with a smile on their faces! Made our stay a very pleasant one, despite the hotel not exactly being the most modern (Hoi An, after all, is just a small town). The ancient town was just a 10-minute bike ride away, so we found the location to be convenient. Breakfast was okay, not great. But would definitely consider staying here again should I find myself back in Hoi An.

everywhere in hoi an is more expensive than most places in vietnam so this place is a great deal for the price. we booked for 2 people and it cost a total of $30. we had a huge room with 2 double beds, balcony on the 4th floor, good view towards the river and the old city.! bathtub couldn't be filled as hot water ran out but the shower was good. it's in a great location just across the bridge from the old city so within easy walking distance of the restaurants, bars and clubs. breakfast was an amazing spread of viet and western food buffet style and served in the restaurant on the top (5th) floor so very nice space to eat. the pool is in the middle of the hotel and is nice too. we didn't end up using it as it was raining the whole time but we did spend a few hours laying on th deck chairs reading while we waited for our bus. this was several hours after we checked out and the hotel was happy to look after our bags too while we spent the day in the old city. we did a tour of cham tours booked through the hotel which was good too. only downfall was one of the main receptionists who was rather pushy about booking things 'now' but the other girls were lovely. and when i ordered food at the pool bar the 2 things i ordered (both chefs hoi an specialities) were unavailable! also we had a very late night out and had a freak out when the whole front was gated shut and looked as tho we were locked out. we had a friendly man notice and showed us how to get in and i had to wake security to get my key......but we had this experience in many other towns and hotels too so it's not unusual. the next night security was still awake and the gate was open so i assume this is usually how it's supposed to be. overall a great place to stay and i would quite happily stay there again. have already recommended it to several other travellers since.

Stayed at the Muong in Hoi An for 10 nights over New Years Eve (wife and 1 year old child). Wish I had stayed longer. Way better than the Van Pearl in Halong Bay (was a 5 Star island resort). Upgraded to Executive suit and definitely worth it. New Year Eve party was excellent. Swam in the ocean then pool every day. Food was safe and mosquitos where never an issue.Staff member Tram Huymh provided us with exceptional service and went over and above to make our stay great. I wish I had cancelled the van pearl in Halong and remained at the Muong in Hoi An. Next time, I'm spending a month here.

There are many hotels that call themselves "luxury boutiques" that are nothing of the sort. La Residencia does however, live up to it's name. Hoi An is a beautiful town unique in my experiences of Vietnam. It is a town that (literally) must be explored on foot. From this Hotel's location this is very easy to do so. I heard complaints from people commuting to and from the town in taxis to the hotels further out; it was so handy to be able to stroll back to our room within five minutes of leaving the shops, restaurants and bars. The food from the restaurant was quite nice; breakfast was especially good. In Hoi An there are plenty of good eateries to stumble upon though so we didn't eat in the hotel much. The rooms are nice and somehow refreshing, tastefully decorated. Finally but certainly not last; the staff. They were so accommodating it made the stay an absolute pleasure. They showed a genuine interest and concern for how we experienced our stay in Hoi An and exhibited a quiet pride in their locale and their hotel. Their professionalism raised our experience to a five star level in my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel. Beyond just value for money.

I came with my family after a long way from the north we arrive to Danang the hotel came to pick us up for very cheap amount at the airport The receptionist was very helpful during all our stay the breakfast is good and unfortunately we didn’t had the chance to enjoy the pool cause the weather was bad but we had the opportunity to take the bicycle for free of use and also umbrella for free I really recommend this place for all families or travelers also business people I will come back for sure ! I have had busy days with tough business in Danang city during last week. So, I have given myself a present of a free day in the peaceful town of Hoi An. Thanks for good introductions from my friends, I have chosen Hoi An Emerald Waters Hotel as my stay in Hoi An. The hotel has helped me to have experienced a great day in the ancient town. Hoi An is new for me and the staff of the hotel helped me a lot, was very enthusiastic to give me support, advices on interesting places, food and local culture. The hotel location is very convenient for visiting the town. Its facility is very good and high quality, design of the room is very beautiful and comfortable. Their activities is very professional and gentle. Next time to Hoi An, I will take my family to stay here again. Thank you very much for helping me during my day in Hoi An town.

stayed there the 11th of dec -18th of dec... room 1306...great!!!! the hotel was perfect, the staff were perfect, we rented scooter (motor bikes) from mrs hong across the street and she also did our laundry ....plus she makes great coffee ....so go there and i am sure she will really apprtiate it the hotel has a great fitness centre, a great steam room and only dong (5 dollars) to town by taxi, 20 cent beers that are ice cold (in hoi an)eellent, hoi an is a great place with good food and cheap beer, the hotel has a great lap pool and the best help desk.(tour desk) they bookrd two sets of airline tickets for us to nha trang and another to ho chi minh from nha trang, it is a great place,,,,hiep was a great help...she some times is working in the bar or at the tour desk but the inter tour desk staff are all very good and love to talk this is a great hotel and a great location jeff stewart canada

I would say the stay at Little Hoi An was one of the best throughout our whole Vietnam trip, well maybe even better than any we had in Singapore. They had the best customer service, which me and my bf were really happy with. We were greeted with smiles and lots of useful information when we first checked in. All the staffs were really friendly and smiley, especially Hienn and Susan. The both of them were really helpful and went the extra miles to answer all of our needs, that really brightened our 3 nights stay there :) We had the deluxe room, though the view ain't that good, we thought that the room has a simple yet elegant decor. We were so satisfied with the room that we actually extended one more night to stay in Hoi An. The breakfast spread is not that large but definitely sufficient and really delicious. There's always staffs around to serve either bread, vietnamese crepe or iced coffee. Once again, we were overwhelmed by the awesome service rendered, really way better than what a typical 4 star hotel will offer. Lastly, the location is really awesome we thought, as we can always spend the evening walking from the romantic ancient town to our hotel. We enjoyed being near the locals, and yet able to enjoy the quiet moments with each other. Definitely going back to this hotel if we visit Hoi An in the future. Highly recommended!

The manager, Ms Linh is a very helpful person as she helps to coordinate our airport transfer to Marble Mountain and then to the hotel despite the fact that our flight were delayed for 2.5 hours. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Ms Daisy who's attentive in serving us. She recommended us lots of places of visit in Hoi An and the told us the short cut roads to these places. Room is clean and huge. Super value for money. Breakfast is awesome with lots of variety to choose from. Should add in more local delicacies instead of serving more of western breakfast. Overall, this is a very good place to stay in. Would stay here again should I were to visit Hoi An in future. They deserve a 5 stars rating instead of a 3.5 stars as stated at the moment.

this is such a lovely Place to stay in hoi an! a small, beautiful and very personal boutique hotel close to the city yet located in a more area of the town, so one can have a space to relax and recharge here. the breakfast is also great and the staff is keen to make you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. pools are lovely too, there you can borrow bikes for free, minibar prices are also more than decent. I hope you get the chance to meet one of the managers, Cloudy. she is sooo lovely, charming and funny. and she will help you with anything. the hotel will also help you with transports to other cities (we paid moderate 75 Usd for a private car to hue), tours and so on. We didn't use the Spa, but the prices for it were also more than fair. only one thing would have been lovely to have (but this is moaning on veeeery high level) is tour information with prices in the rooms or at another place to be able to inform ourselves without needing to ask - but this might be a very German consideration :) next time we will be in Hoi An, we will definitely stay at Silk Boutique again.

Anio Boutique Hotel deserves to be the best rated hotel in town. The staff is very cordial and helpful. During check in, they even noticed my girlfriends upcoming birthday in her passport and arranged a birthday cake for her. That’s really impressive! Also, the hotel is very new and has good facilities. Breakfast is nicely prepared and has plenty of choices. If you look for a bigger gym, you can check out Superfit gym, which is just 10min away from the hotel. We will come back again our next time in Hoi An. PS: Thanks to Vin, Lukas and the rest of the staff. The hotel owner can be glad to have such a great team!

The Pearl Hoi An is a very nice resort in its infancy (still in the soft opening stage). The rooms are great, the pool is fantastic, breakfast and room service is good, the staff are nice and helpful, and it’s location next to the beach is nice. The resort is at least a year or two from being prime (if it does ever become a fully realized resort, it will almost feel like a Vegas resort hotel).. The long hallway has many shop stalls waiting to be occupied. The outside areas are still waiting for shops, also. A couple of restaurants have set up shop, but weren’t open. It does not have a gym or spa ready yet. A cinema is apparently being built. If you’re not planning on being in the hotel much, then this won’t be a big deal. Hoi An Old Town is only a 10 minute drive away, which is what people are going to Hoi An to see anyway.. I’m curious to see what the place becomes in the next year or so. I would stay there again.

Stop searching for a hotel in Hoi An! You've already found it!! We've travelled from South to the north and this absolutely is the best hotel in Vietnam. Why? Let me tell you: 1. Decor and style: it's a colonial style hotel that expresses in essence word "boutique". Increadibly charming and gives you that unique experience of Vietnam 2. Location: fantastic - 3 min walking from the center and all there is in Hoi An, but at the same time out of Main Street, so it's not noisy 3. Service: outstanding. In 2 days that we stayed they learned our names, were very helpful and attentive without getting into our space. Dressed in beautiful traditional outfits. Pleasure to spend time there.

In Hoi An we stayed at the Huy Hoang Garden Hotel. The location was good approximately 5-10 minute walk to old quarter and 20 minute walk to the bus station for transfer to Danang. It was approximately 25 minute easy going bike ride to the beach. The standard of the Huy Hoang Garden Hotel is middle range but excellent with clean and tidy rooms and a great restaurant and swimming pool area. We booked a standard double room which was spacious with a comfortable bed, reliable air conditioning and good free WIFI. The ensuite was clean, spacious with a good shower. The hotel has good facilities so if you want a break from the beach or the old district you could easily relax on a lounger by the pool which has good shade to escape the heat. We ordered drinks and food by the pool which were both excellent. We also hired good reliable bikes to go to the beach. The hotel does a suberb included breakfast with a buffet of fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, bread/toast and a couple of Asian dishes. In addition to that you can order a hot breakfast of eggs or omelet. The food is above the standard expected from a middle range hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their english wasn’t great however, they helped us book an overnight bus service to Nha Trang and stored our bags after we checked out. They recommended a good tailor in town which we visited and had good clothes produced. The hotel was excellent value for money with good rooms and probably the best overall hotel (budget/middle range) we have stayed during our stay in Vietnam. We were extremely happy

All of the GEM Riverside was perfect. The Vietnamese people are known to always be friendly and helpful BUT the staff of the Gem Riverside has topped everything. Everybody was very attentive to help they guest with good advice around food, markets, booking services etc.! The breakfast is huge, delicious and with diversity. The modern rooms and the pool were always absolutely clean and the hotel is very calmly located near the old town. Within 10 minutes by walk you reach the insane old town of HOI AN which is historical and a MUST SEE during your time in Vietnam. The hotel offers bicycles for free and also a free shuttle bus to the beach. ( 3 minutes to the old town by bicycle ). There was nothing negative to mention, we extended our stay for 4 more nights and still didn’t want to leave the hotel & Hoi an. We’re always felt comfortable with the lovely staff, which gives you a “homecoming feeling”. We would always recommend the gem riverside. (Greetings to Yummy,Haley and Maya)!

This is my third stay at a La Siesta property and the first time in Hoi An. I continue to be impressed by this chain’s high standards in hospitality and professionalism, particularly when dealing with an issue we had - not with the hotel but with one of the restaurants they recommended. My friends and I will continue staying at La Siesta properties when in Vietnam.

Our stay in Hoi An was overall an excellent experience. Lasenta itself is a very new hotel (3 months from what the concierge told us) and it definitely shows. Upon arriving, we were given a cold towel and a cool herbal drink and then were given the run down of information before being taken to our room. The concierge were always attending to our needs whether it's calling for a taxi or helping with our luggage or just greeting in the mornings. Our room (Grand Deluxe) was plenty spacious, the bed very large and comfy and overall the room was very clean. The view from the room was breath taking as we had the rice fields view and waking up to that every morning was bliss. The WIFI in the room was a little spotty (we were located on the 6th floor) and seemed rather slow unless we sat near towards the door (which is most likely closer to the access point). However, WIFI in the lobby and restaurant were extremely fast (around ~10Mbps) so they should probably improve on the signal in the rooms. Since breakfast was bundled with our room, the breakfast is your standard fare - generally sausage, bacon, beans, mash potato, potato tarts, curry, congee, breads, fruits, cold meats and cheese. They also have a station where two chefs will make your eggs to your preference and one to prepare your bowl of Pho. Food quality, it's rather decent, I actually have no complaints about it. The hotel has various facilities such as the infinity-esque pool (great for taking pictures) and also a gym, which is equipped with two treadmills, 1 crosstrainer, a lat-pulldown, bench press and free weights. I managed to get 3 decent workouts with the provided equipment. Location wise, I would say very good as it is not in the heart of the bustling and tourist heavy Hoi An town but also not that far that it is very inconvenient. Walking from the hotel to Hoi An Ancient Town took about 15-20 minutes. There's restaurants just 5 minute walk behind the hotel (I recommend Wooden House, the food there

I come to VN 4 x per year, mainly for work however some pleasure is added to some trips. I researched for quite a while to find the one for my partner and I and came up with this one. Aira is perfect, has the boutique feel with all the trimmings. It is situated within walking of many great restaurants and bars, making it very easy to try different things. The staff are standout! I'm always impressed with the VN staff throughout VN however, these guys were just a bit more stand out. Hung on check in to Area B (there are two blocks, A and B, B was just completed Oct 18) he was amazing throughout the stay. Both pools are good and quite COOL too - sounds a strange thing to state but in Hoi An this time of the year it's hard to get a cool pool and I need a pool which is going to be refreshing. If you have kids - it's good, however, friends of ours stayed at Sunrise which seemed to be more kid friendly. this was a massive PLUS for my partner and I as the pool at AIRA was quiet! :)

Phu Thinh resort took us by surprise with its lovely resort ground and amazing hospitality. We have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam, and this hotel had become one of our new favorite. We booked 3 rooms for our family of 6, us, 2 adults children and 2 younger children . The resort had meet all our expectations and much more. Our room was nice and clean. We got complimentary fresh fruits and water delivered to our room every day. I requested 3 rooms next to each other and we received that. We had a great view of the pool and the resort ground from our patios. With the nice sitting area on our third floor patios , we enjoyed our coffee while taking in the nice greenery of Hoi An. The pool was nice and clean. There was always staffs on site to help with whatever you need from a nice refreshing beer to ice cream for the little one. There were fresh towel available as well as life vest for one might needed. Our buffet breakfast included with the room, were delicious. Plenty of choice from fruits, breads, bacon, eggs to yummy local food such as My Quang, Pho, and an egg station. The restaurant situated right next to a lotus fish pond . The nice breeze and the view are amazing . Couldn’t have ask for a better start of my day. We had lunch as the restaurant one of the day, the food was good. It can be a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in town but well priced for a resort price. What made Phu Thinh become our new favorite is its staffs! During our stay, every one was smiling, happy to help and extremely friendly and kind to all of us. Our check in was smooth and informative. The check in desk was there for whatever we need from calling for a taxi drive, arranging our transfer to lending us bikes for our morning rides. Everyone was professional yet friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we come back to Hoi An. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

This place is absolutely stunning. It was a nice & quiet change after visiting Hanoi for a few days and before heading on down to Ho Chi Minh. I was traveling with family and we had an amazing time. They have a shuttle that runs about 4-5 times per day taking you into Hoi An or a taxi is about $3 one way. Lynn at the front desk was an amazing host and helped us with everything we needed...booking tours, more water in the room, etc. She was awesome, and all of the staff were really. My only small disappointment was that this is across the street from the beach which I was really looking forward to having a little beach time during our busy vacation and this beach is damaged. it was all sandbags so we opted for a little pool time which was fabulous but still this doesn't have a nice private beach for lounging, you can access it by walking across the street but there's not a sandy beach to enjoy. All in all though the resort itself is amazing and I've never stayed anywhere like it! We l

We really enjoyed our four night stay at Ally Beach Boutique Hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, thoughful, some funny and most of them speak good English. The hotel was clean and in a great location as you can easily relax on the beach, or catch the complementary hotel shuttle into Hoi An to investigate this intriguing World Heritage Town. There are some good local eating choices and lots more in Hoi An which also has great coffee shops. Another highlight was the free bike tour the hotel puts on on Tuesdays, Thursday's and Saturdays which gives you a great experience of riding through local countryside. We stayed here on our last 2 nights in Hoi An and would highly recommend it. By far the best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms were perfectly clean and the bed was so comfy. The inclusive spa experience was amazing. We used the sauna and steam room a few times each day (all included in room rate). The buffet breakfast was great, the only negative being you have to pay extra for tea and coffee. We also ate room service one night and it was really tasty. Every single staff member goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay - they all did a brilliant job.

We stayed in Hoi An for 2 days. During our stay, we found the staff to be extremely helpful. I'd particularly like to mention Hué and Vy. They helped us in arranging tours around Hoi An, recommending must-not-miss places to eat and also helped contacting and speaking in Vietnamese with local private car hire companies. Throughout our stay, we felt we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend staying at River Suites Hoi An. One of th best hotels we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Vietnam. :) Wafa and Martyna
