this was a last minute decision to book an overnight stay in Seoul because I couldn't find a flight straight to Busan so decided to stay 1 night in Seoul instead of travelling non-stop for 1 whole day. The room was modern and very clean, and since it was my first time in this hotel, they gave me a room upgrade :D The welcome basket of snacks was a nice touch too! The location is perfect, it is just about 100 meters walk to the Myeongdong shopping street. Will definitely consider to book again as I've yet to explore Seoul a little bit more :)

Safe haven in the city! ”
My flight out of Korea was cancelled, due to the Covid-19 virus. So I booked Aloft last minute... and was so happy I did! They were very kind and understanding. The bed was incredibly comfortable. And the location can’t be beat. Walk out your door for food and shopping. The staff definitely made a stressful situation more comfortable and enjoyable.

I would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect location, a block away from the Myeongdeong street stalls, across the road from the big department stores, and a couple blocks away from the train station. There were plenty of restaurant restaurants around just a few blocks radius. The hotel had a small gift basket with 2 minute noodles, snacks, face masks and other small items, which was so lovely!

The room had a great view of the city center. We had big windows and a desk. It was super cozy and comfortable and they provided Bliss branded shampoo and conditioners. Loved the stay and would recommend.

A great hotel in many ways”
The location is great, it's within walking distance to two subway stations, all the popular sightseeing places including 3 palaces, MT Namsan and Gwanghwamun Gate, shopping streets, restaurants, street food stands... Basically you have everything nearby the hotel. It's neat, tidy and very clean, the floor plan is delicately designed with eyes into details. Staff are friendly, helpful, supportive and very polite. We have enjoyed a great time in there. Highly recommended.

Aloft is located in the heart of Myeongdong, Lotte and Shinsage are just one street away. There’s sufficient food choices around, but just bear in mind that Myeongdong is no longer as bustling as before. My room is beyond expectations! I have had a great 5 nights stay. The room is clean and spacious, very comfy bed. The big TV has Netflix and YT installed. Bathroom is big and clean with bathtub and shower separated. I will strongly recommend Aloft to travellers who doesn’t mind to stay Myeongdong admist this pandemic.

Good location but if taking bus from airport by KAL line will drop at oppisite road which need to go down the tunnel and up and again. NO joke with 2 big luggage and a small children Luckily meet the lady who work in the hotel who help to lift the luggage. Appreciate it a lot

The bus stop and subway station are right in front of the hotel. The opposite corners are Shinsaege and lotte department store. Many good (local review) restaurants are also located within 500m radius.

Chic and trendy 4 star hotel”
Aloft is a stone’s throw from the bustling streets of myeondong. The hotel, a vision of W hotels and part of marriot group, is stylish, clean and modern. The room is tastefully designed and modern. Good for couples and family with small kids as they kindly provided a teepee and mattress for kids The toilet is spacious and thoughtfully designed with a heated toilet seat. Much needed in cold weather. I would recommend Aloft if you have slightly more to spend on accommodation

Pros: great room, great location, great counter staff. Cons: the 2 lifts took absolutely forever to reach. The breakfast menu remained the same for the 3 nights I was there. The staff at the breakfast room treated guests more suspiciously than warmly, from the way they asked you for room number, and even while checking against the guest list, constantly scanning new guests entering the room. That’s a terrible and disrespectful way of treating guests.

It's a superb newly renovated hotel in the center of Myeongdong. You can walk to Myeongdong street in a few minutes. Love it there!

Love the breezy junior suite”
Love the junior suite, the size, the wardrobe compartments, 2 TVs so both parents & kids can watch their fave tv shows. Water refill station is right in front of the room. Love our stay here, will definitely be coming back soon.
