Good but small details”

We had a good trip and have stayed here before. When we first went to our room, we were right next to an elevator and the ice machine with two young kids. They ended up moving us to their summit building for an upgrade fee. The 2nd room smelled horrible, but as soon as we told the front desk they got on it. We enjoy staying at this hotel, it is normally very clean and the breakfast is great and kids love the pool area. But they need to look at small details, smelly rooms, stains on couch and carpets, rips in the shower curtains, only one elevator working, scratches on walls, bath towels not as soft or as white as normal. But we would stay here again because those are small things that could be changed if they put effort in.

The men room attendants did a lousy 1/2 job. The hot tub water was NASTY! Otherwise, our stay was ”

I cleaned our room myself. But the nasty water in the hot tub was beyond my control. The grandkids had a blast!!

Not clean and awful beds ”

Pool is nice , rooms are updated but not dusted or deep cleaned. Air conditioner seems old rooms are small. So many people eating that we didn’t even get to eat.

Fun for the kids”

Upon checking in, the staff was very friendly. The room was not exactly up to par. The floor around the air conditioner was wet, the room was musty, and the shower curtain had mold growing on it. However, the pool area and water park were great. There were two slides, 2 large outdoor pools, and a kid splash pool area as well as an indoor pool with hot tub. My daughter was in splish splash heaven.

The staff were rude, and didn't know what they were doing. We had two rooms with 6 people each. The staff were rude and didn't know what they were doing. The maid made half the beds in one room, and none in the other. The towels were not replenished. They didn't clean the floors. The garbage was not taking out, and the didn't replenish the cups or coffee. You were only allowed 2 cups for 6 people for 2 days. The maid left the master key in our room, and we could have gotten into all the rooms. The front desk did not care when I returned it. Not worth it! returned it. Never again!

We make a trip to Piegon Forge at least once a year if not more. However this was my first time staying at Country Cascades but it will not be the last. The new renovations to the pool area and small children's pool park is awesome. The rooms was clean enough, did look like dog food on floor but not a big deal cause the rest of the room was clean and being on the top floor there was really tall ceiling with a ceiling fan. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Our room was only cleaned once in five days.”

When we arrived, we walked into our room, only to discover it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The manager was very apologetic and moved us to another room. However, over the course of our 5 night stay, we only had our room cleaned once! That was the night before we left! Every night, I had to go down to the front desk and ask for fresh towels and wash cloths. Our coffee maker never got washed out and coffee was never replenished. No blanket on the bed. When I complained to the manager, all he said was that he was sorry but they were busy and had checked in a lot of new guests. I also did not like the fact that there was no balcony. The rooms were just ok. The pool, however, was fabulous! The waterslides were fun and everything was well maintained. My kids loved it!

Water Slides are on par with big scale water parks. It has a tube and a body slide. Pool has a walk in end, like the ocean. Which is great for laying out but still in the water. Separate area for little ones to play in a jungle gym water scenario. Breakfast is good and included. Only downside would be if you wanted waffles or pancakes, only one utensil to make them with. A little congested and a line for that option. Otherwise all other food is readily available and the people move right along. They do have signs telling you the when the peak times in the eating area are. To help you navigate thru that time. The location is only one block off the main strip, easy to walk to. And to walk off your meal from the good food establishments and ice cream shops located there. Would return and stay here again...
