PARKING SUCKS!!! Be prepared to park several blocks away or in a gravel lot behind a nearby convenience store. Facilities are very dated and no where near typical Radisson standards. Stayed here several times when it was the Legacy. All they've done is slap on some new paint and now call it a luxury hotel. It is a GREAT hotel for $100 a night but for anything more you can get much nicer places.

The view for the room was amazing! The cleaning staff were wonderful. They were very kind and helpful. The lady who checked us in made me feel like I was causing her a problem by checking in. The rest of the staff were great. The room really needs to be updated but it was clean.

If you want a good hotel for a few days it’s clean and right on the quiet beach. Nothing plush but some updating. Friendly front desk. I would rate it a 6 (as in 1-10). No breakfast but diner across street.

Good Last Minute Option”
Pros: on beach, private balcony, staff was mostly very nice and helpful, basement parking, showers inside and out, had elevator service man working at one point Cons: had to wait about 20 min after check in time because room wasn't ready, had to wait 20 more min for a luggage cart, someone finally called to have one brought down, flies like crazy in lobby, extremely busy the whole time, rooms, halls, pool, beach, elevators, lobby, one elevator only worked intermittently, they said they knew about it, loud the whole time, seemed like people were constantly slamming doors and talking loudly right outside my door, even in the mornings, couldn't sleep in without turning on a sound machine, trucks with loud exhausts continually passed by revving way too loudly, balconies could be a little more private, close together and could see neighbors if they were standing there, floor was very sandy upon arrival like it hadn't been cleaned, one ac seemed like it was blowing hot air and the filter was totally clogged and looked like it had never been cleaned, Internet was all but unusable, only had low signal intermittently and not enough to load anything, elevator floor signs were not working correctly, was charged a $270 deposit sheet paying ahead and was told it would be refunded upon checkout but still have not gotten it, tvs not smart, fridge froze drinks even though it was set to recommended level, parking is confusing, that's a map with like six different areas to park, and if you aren't lucky you have to park across the road or possibly down the road All in all I enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if it came down to it, but they could definitely improve on some of these issues to make it a much better experience

Location was great! Our kids enjoyed the popcorn, pool, hot tub, and snowcones. Every room has a view of the beach! The basement parking was a neat feature. Overflow parking is plentiful, and lots of activities are within walking distance.

Weekend Get Away ”
Overall this was a great place for the price in the middle of Feb. We were meeting up with other family members so we wanted to be able to do several activities. Location to many of the activities was awesome. The layout of the room is a little different. As you walk in you are in the bedroom, the living/dinning room faces the beach with a nice little balcony. The kitchenette was great to have. Plenty of hot water, great showerhead, towels were a little rough, but did the job. Parking can be a little congested. The elevator is really the only complaint as it makes a banging noise going up and down. Check in/out was polite and housekeeping was friendly.

Check- in was at 3:00, but our room was not ready until 6! The lobby is nice, but don’t let that fool you. Rooms were old and not clean, even though we waited an extra 3 hours for “cleaning”.

For the price this was not a very nice hotel. It’s very run down and in need of a makeover. We were turned off by the rusted doors and just overall mediocre facilities for the price. I realize the location is good on the beach but other than that not impressive.

The hotel is ok if you like outdoor hotels. I didn’t realize they were outside until I arrived. Also a 4pm check in is ridiculous but whats even more ridiculous us a 10am check out. Those policies need to be changed I mean give the people what they pay for. Most places check in is around 3pm n check out is at 11 but may be extended to 12 I wasnt happy that my vacation sleep was cut short

NO PARKING”
The hotel lobby was great. The rooms are rundown. Carpet is worn out. Mattresses are worn out. The ocean side door to the balcony was rusted and the exit knob was loose. The ventilation left you either freezing or too hot. A hole in the sink faucet had been repaired with foam tape. There was not enough parking at the hotel. So every time you left and came back, you had to search for a place to park. Most of the time you ended up at the hotel next door or across the street.Very aggravating. Elevators were unreliable. The entry was blocked most of the day on Saturday due to repair of an exit sign. The hotel charged my credit card in advance, not what I am used to at hotels that charge the prices it did for the room. I feel that is wrong!! When you check in they require you to sign a form acknowledging you are aware of the parking problems and if you mess up your car will get towed. Sounds like a lawyer at work for CYA purposes. I will not stay at the Legacy again!

The best hotel ever”
My family go to Panama city beach 3 time a years, we stay alot of hotel around there but the best one i pick right now is the Legacy By The Sea , good price, nice service , room very clean , fast check in & out , near by everything , shoping center . Restaurant, Pear fishing .The bacony look out to the sea , i love pool & spa at the hotel , its warm water so my kids can swim until 10pm , i recomment every body need to try 1 time you will love it , i'll be bk , thank you the Legacy by the sea
