Great Location”
I stayed at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong for four nights. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall and right smack in the middle of the Insadong main street, so the location was quite convenient as a base for travelling around Seoul (nearest subway/metro station is Anguk, just a few minutes away), picking up things at convenience store(s) and shopping for souvenirs around the street. I think it may be a fairly new development - I don't recall seeing it when I had previously visited Seoul, pre-covid times. It's a short walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace and Jogyesa Temple. Ssamziegil right across the street is a must visit, and aside from shopping crafts, I believe it runs some workshops which I unfortunately had little time to explore more on. There are also a lot of museums in the area. There are plenty of food options in the area, including vegan restaurant Osegyehyang, vegan cafe Maru and halal restaurant Nirvana Halal Indian Kitchen. You MUST check out the many traditional teahouses ("chatjib") in the area. The hotel has a coin laundry facility including microwave oven (Godsend), business center, as well as a stored luggage area (will need to pay additional fees). The downside is that the shopping mall is only around 50-70% occupied, so it has nothing much going on there. There is also no swimming pool. I found the room acceptable. The size is pretty much a hotel standard, and pretty clean. I felt that the general upkeep was a bit lacking, I could see paint on handles peeling off. There are amenities such as toothbrushes etc. though I must point out that I have been to many hotels and Nine Tree Insadong is the first hotel I've stayed at that does not have a comb amongst its amenities. I'm not sure if it's this specific branch, or Nine Tree branding in particular. The other hotels in Seoul have combs. Communicating in English is no problem. I have not tried other languages. If I were to stay at Insadong, I would stay at the hotel again.

Great location and facilities: Good beds, plenty of outlets, elevators, storage space!”
I chose this place based on location. It’s close to lots of great things: Gyeongbukgong Palace, Insadong’s main shopping strip, art and history museums, restaurants, and Bukchon hanok village. I also chose it because there was an elevator and space for our suitcases. The room is wonderfully clean and the view was great. There were lots of outlets and places to plug in USB ends (like on the alarm clock, walls, and TV). There’s a bidet in the bathroom and a nice strong shower. They have a pillow menu in one of the folders (pillows of varying degrees of softness) we didn’t take advantage of but would love to have tried if we had stayed longer. They also have daily pocket wi-fi for rent. The beds were not too firm and not too soft so we slept well. The staff at the front desk speaks English and they can communicate well. There is a storage area with giant lockers for giant suitcases which are free to use if you’re a guest and need baggage held before or after check-out.

The perfect hotel with a central location”
This was the first hotel we booked on for our two weeks vacation in Seoul, and stayed there for 8 days after we arrived in South Korea. We had a room with a view over the Jogyesa temple on the 12th floor, and it was stunning. Although the wallpaper in the room was a bit outdated, the overall experience was great - The room had a decent size and was cleaned every day, the bathroom felt luxurious, the personnel was welcoming and respectful, and the Korean breakfast was amazing - Especially the beef-bone broth soups, which were our go-to for breakfast! Furthermore, it’s so close to several tourist attractions like temples, palaces, the city hall, Myeongdong, etc., so we ended up walking to all of these. There is also a metro station close by (maximum 5 min walk), if you want to travel to Gangnam, Itaewon, Lotte World, the Seoul towers, etc. Our experience with the hotel was so good that we booked it again for our last three days in Seoul, after our visit to Jeju. We highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful New Hotel in Insadong, Seoul”
I was looking forward to staying at this hotel after finding it listed on Agoda, and I wasn't disappointed! The hotel was easy to find, super close to Anguk Station, and surrounded by restaurants and shops! On check-in, the staff were polite and friendly. My room was big, the bathrooms were very clean and spacious, and the bed was really really comfortable. Check out we smooth too. I decided to try the self check out system, but one of the shower friendly staff came over to help me. I enjoyed the whole experience. No complaints. 😁 I loved Seoul! I'll definitely go back and stay at Nine Trees Insadong again!

Absolute Best In My Book💗”
I will choose to stay here again and again. It has everything I could dream of in Seoul. I chose a room with 2 twin beds & requested a quiet room and a good view. Granted! The view out our picture window is of the lighted temple across the street. Airport limousine bus 6005, ride was about 75 minutes and stop is called Aventree. Last stop on the route. We both pulled two suitcases to the hotel in about 7 minutes. The hotel's reception is on the 5 th floor and we are on the 12 th floor. It is connected to a brand new mall with many Grand Opening shops. Shoppers paradise indeed and there are restaurants to satisfy all your needs plus a convenience store you can access on the 2 nd floor then go outside. Every night we go there to buy ice coffee, milk tea, and snacks. Hotel opened 10/2019 w/updated features, self served locker storage room, laundry, gym, couch in room along with a desk, WiFi, bath product dispensers in the shower, closet, safe.

Excellent hotel in Insadong”
We stayed at Nine Tree hotel @ Myeongdong before and had a good experience. This time we decided to stay at their new hotel @ Insadong. It did not disappoint. The location at the art and culture street was a good change for us. Many art galleries and cafes gave us choices unlike before. Hotel itself is very clean and the staff professional. I like the self-service password protected luggage locker. We had 3 persons in a room, a bit cramp but still manageable. Next to hotel is a small mall with eateries and cafes. Only gripe is morning breakfast comes in bentos style instead of buffet due to covid situation.

We had a wonderful stay at Nine Tree Insadong!”
We loved our stay at this brand new hotel in Insadong. The location is perfect and you can walk just 2 minutes to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet at night which we really enjoyed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me with directions that I needed. I recommend choosing a rate that includes breakfast as I did not and the rate is expensive per person. I would definitely return to Nine Tree Insadong!

Perfect stay”
Our first impression of the hotel was that the lobby was beautiful and cosy. The fragrance was very nice. The room was new and spacious with beautiful city view. We loved every moment staying at the hotel. The staff was very hospitable and helped us to order a normal taxi through their own phone app (unlike the other hotels we stayed in Seoul who could only call for a more premium taxi). The hotel was right above a mall with the famous Seoul Coffee (famous for its charcoal bread) and Kakao Friends. Insadong street was right next door. Many niche and specialty cafe around. Anguk station exit 6 was just 2 mins walk away. It was a beautiful and quaint neighbourhood unlike the upbeat and noisy area of Myeongdong or Hongdae. We will definitely return to this hotel next time in Seoul.

Location, location, location!”
This hotel is perfectly located in the Insa-dong district of Seoul. It's within a very easy walking distance to the Anguk Station, Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Museum of Korea, and so many shops and food/restaurants. The customer service is excellent from front desk to housecleaning. They speak English and Korean so we had no communication issues. Hotel is really lovely!

Great value, Highly recommended”
This is a fantastic value for money hotel. Modern, new, clean and convenient with a mall downstairs. It is within walking distance to the shopping street behind the hotel and other areas like Ikseon-Dong, palace etc. If you prefer to sight see, cafe hop and walk, this is in a better location than Myeongdong (for shopping). Breakfast is tasty - korean style, no coffee or tea though but you can buy them easily from the cafes nearby.

The facilities are still new and so clean I enjoyed the lobby because I could enjoy a complementary coffee while looking out to the Buddhist Temple and watching passers by. The room was simple but efficient. Decently a rerun to this location if the prices stay affordable! Great Job Nine Tree!

Fantastic Hotel in a Great Location”
This hotel was a pleasant surprise as we were not expecting to be as nice as it was and as in a good a location as it ended up being in. Room of course is smaller than the typical North American hotel room, but bigger than Tokyo and well appointed in all the right places. Only complaint would be the light at the room main door that comes on when you get close to it. This meant that going to the bathroom in the middle of the night turned this light on as it is right by the bathroom entrance. There was no way to turn off as near as we could tell. Don't let this stop you booking as it is not very bright, rather just be aware.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful. From check in to an issue I had with the aircon the staff were FAST and kind to smooth out any sort of issue. Being in the heart of Insadong you really feel like you are away from it all but yet close to great cafes, restaurants, neighborhoods to roam in and historical sites. There is a convenience store on the first floor and lots of places to eat in the hotel complex. Certain rooms have a direct, unobstructed view of Jogyesa Temple (extra cost). I would definitely and WILL definitely recommend this place to all my friends who are looking for a place for a quick getaway or traveling to Korea once covid lets up.

Came here for my anniversary with my bf. The rooms are super clean, the robes and slippers are comfy. There are also ice machines in the hallway. Overall very nice experience! Our room had a great view too. The hotel is located right off of Insadongs main shopping street and close to Ikseongdong also

The hotel is brand new on top of a shopping mall. Everything is new & clean. The room is relatively spacious compared to other hotel in Seoul. Water machine in every floor, no need to brother boiling water ourselves. I would recommend take airport bus #6002, this cost cheaper with more rapid bus schedule.

Great hotel in Insadong”
First time staying at this hotel and was quite satisfied with the overall experience. The room was clean and even have a bath tub in the toilet. The hotel is also situated at a good location close to Auguk Station exit 6 and there are shops nearby for shopping or dining needs. Definitely coming back to stay.

Good Location, Value for Money and Nice mid-range hotel”
I had stayed during the period where there were fewer tourists, so most of the people staying in the hotel were locals. The location is in the middle of the hipster area (eateries, art galleries and Ssamzigil just downstairs). Short walk to 2 different subway stations. The airport shuttle bus stop is just downstairs too, though it has not resumed service during Covid period. Staff generally helpful and the extra bonus of being able to choose different types of pillows was interesting! Room was spacious, relatively new, clean and pretty well maintained. I was there during end of winter, so i didn't have to activate the air-con or heater, but it didn't seem to work. The window was slightly challenging to close and open as well. Enjoyed my 8 nights stay overall.

The hotel was newly built which was one of my reason for choosing it. The rooms are reasonably big, nice and clean. The bed was comfy, bathroom is nice with hot water. I had great time staying.

the facility was quite new so, everything was clean also, it is very close to Kyungbok palace and Bukchon folk village, etc therefore it is quite good choice to stay here in Seoul furthermore, staffs were nice as well
