There are good ocean view and nice room condition in resort. And also near best restaurant and natural path

If you want to relax and away from the crowd, i recommend Phoenix Jeju. The location is on the top of a cliff with a good view of the ocean. Downside is that you don't have a lot of choices for eating. You need to drive back to town for that. The room was big even with 2 bathrooms. It was clean however, you have to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste. The walk to the glasshouse and lighthouse was very nice and both places offers great view of the Sunrise Peak from afar. Overall, if you want to relax and enjoy the resort, I would recommend this resort.

Wait until after Covid”
My family and I recently stayed with our young children, and the resort is nice, the staff are kind, and they did their best to accommodate as much as possible considering the government restrictions...but the whole experience (and the value for the money) would have been a lot better without the covid safety requirements. I realize the resort can't control the government, and we will happily stay there again after life returns to normal.

Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Definitely a good space for family or group of friends. Parking is very limited so if you get there at night, you might not find a spot.

Facility is a bit old but looks well maintained, good for family with kids, nice view in famaous location. Room cleaning is available only for 3 nights or more.

Phoenix in Winter. ”
First off the shuttle only leave airport at 1200 and 1600 and is an hour ride to hotel and there is no bus or shuttle service off island. Basically isolated unless you rent car.

This is the perfect place for families and independent travelers. The room includes 2 BR, 2 Full bathrooms and kitchen. There’s a coin laundry and on site convenience store. Beautiful peninsula with a sunrise view

I stayed rm 2324 on Sep. 7, 2022. I had a few issues for this rm. 1. There was a couple of hairs in the bed sheet. Did they replace bed sheet with new one? 2. There was a water leak from toilet bidet. 3. Air conditioner was not controllable. It was too cold. I turned off power the air conditioner. But it was still operating. We were too cold for a whole night. 4. It seems, since they opened this hotel in 2008, they did not remodel or fix the problem. 5. Even though the building was not well maintained, the landscape was amazing.

Phoenix Seopjikoji is one of the best lodging places to enjoy its landscape. If you have a plan to trip Jeju with your family(especially with children), I will strongly recommend it. But you should know one thing. It is located in the east of Jeju island but many tourist attractions are in the west.

the furniture are quite old in the room. But the style is very home like, good for family with children but not so much for smaller groups. We couldn’t understand Korean and wanted to use the pool but apparently it’s closed every Wednesday so we couldn’t use it.

Nice but hotel should allow one family with even 4 members like us to stay in the room which in fact our family stayed leaving the other room booked unoccupied so that we could stay together.

Spacious Room but lacking of service”
Spacious hotel which is good for family as they have 2 rooms with kitchen in a unit. However, for the price we paid, the room doesn't comes with at least the basic of toiletries. Also, the customer service mentioned that they will clean the room 3days once however, my trip was 5days 4 nights and there weren't any room service cleaning done.

Special experience”
It is pretty interesting to live in an 'island'. In Phoenix Island, there is pretty seaview and vendors that caters different modes of transport to explore the area - eg. horse carriages. However, it is not a pleasant thing that there is no free wifi in the island. Also, it is far away from the seafood area and we had to take 1.5hrs of cab ride yet was recommended a lousy seafood buffet by the hotel staffs. This is indeecd a regret for my Korea trip.

Beautiful location but unsatisfactory stay”
Sad to say, I have nothing positive to comment about this hotel other than the location it was at - which is Phoenix Island, a natural wonder. The exterior of the hotel was quite magnificent. But the interior failed to live up to the impression set by the exterior. Furniture was old and many things that you would expect to be found within a hotel room was 'missing'. Towels and toiletries were not provided - and when I called room service to enquire about this, they responded by saying that towels will only be provided upon request and that toiletries are chargeable! It doesn't stop there, even room service was chargeable! So in the 3 nights that we stayed in the hotel, the rooms were not made up. Why would we pay extra? We've paid quite a hefty sum for the room already. So you guys have been warned.

Trying but falling short”
1. Great price for a decently-sized suite for a family of 4 2. Location, layout, facilities all suggest an upscale intent; maintenance quality and the crowd don't live up to that intent, likely due to the disproportionate appeal to budget-conscious families with kids 3. Location remote. It is a tourist hot spot but away from everything else. For good food or other activities, you either need to drive 1hr to Jeju city or 1hr to SeoGuiPo city. Hence, great if you are trying to getaway; bad if you are a tourist or are planning on an active vacation 4. Brunch was great, considering that it is included in the price.
