Unorganised ”

20 minutes wait to check in, then asked to wait in the bar before going to our room so they could finish cleaning it (this was 16:00). Extremely long wait in the bar for drinks. And to top it off 15 minute wait in line before being seated for breakfast, even though we had booked a slot for breakfast well in advance. Brought the above to the attention of the staff and they seemed not to care, seems like this is the standard. Room decor dated but comfortable, television ancient nearly unfit for purpose. Our view from our bedroom window was completely blocked by the lower floors roof.

Great 2 night stay only negative was that we were unable to be accommodated in the spa for treatments during stay or use thermal facility

Has everything I need for a great overnight stay. In addition I feel very much at home. Also Sligo is a fantastic country and very much under rated. Looking to my next visit

We have stayed here a number of times now and it never disappoints. The location is excellent overlooking Sligo Bay. Staff and facilities are first rate. It is clean and reasonable value for money. I think the bar food menu needs to be refreshed. Doesn't seem to have changed in quite a while.

Break with older parents ”

Hotel looks great from outside. Queen rooms very small (smaller than most NYC hotel rooms). Staff were great and moved us immediately to king rooms. The hotel was quiet, beds a little hard but overall sleeping experience above average. All staff were super friendly. The food, both in choice and quality was very disappointing. Dinner was not good and the breakfast was probably one of the worst I have ever come across. The food was cold, undercooked and looked like it had been on the hot plates all morning. 😕

Weekend away”

Hotel room was business class and was a very large, bright clean room. On arrival in the room there were petit fours which were delicious. The pool was of a good size. Breakfast was very good my only reservation was that it could have been a little hotter.

wind swept wonder”

This hotel is a little way out of Sligo but as a result had wonderful views over the bay and we could watch the next band of rain coming in and plan going out accordingly! Because of the distance into Sligo we ate in the bar - the food was very good and the portions generous. The breakfast was also very hearty (but with fruit etc available if you don't want a fry up) ideal way to set our selves up for a day of exploring the countryside. The only down side was that in the (very) high winds and rain the window rattled which woke me up at night. We tried the leisure facilities which were good but not the spa (which seemed quite expensive).
