Bare Essentials and Spartan Accomodations”
Resort had the bare essentials a room and a bed, they had an outhouse as a bathroom. My partner was cold because they barely provided a blanket to use, had to wear a jacket while sleeping.

Could have been better if the facilities are well planned and managed

Terrible”
After having high expectations about this place unfortunately it was a let down. After arriving in the afternoon taking 5 modes of transportation to get there we weren't even greeted by anyone, no hello or welcome to the Resort. After the long traveling to get there we decided to grab some lunch at the restaurant, very overpriced and small portions for what you pay for. After lunch we were taken to a hilltop cabin even though I had booked a Mirror lake view cabin and was told we would transfer the next day. The room was cold and uninviting with very little linen on the bed, the temperature dropped to a chilly temp that night and we had no sheets or warm blankets, we are both sick now from that cold evening!! Things didn't get better after we transferred to the other cabin in fact I had booked 3 nights and left the morning of the second day as I could not wait to get out of there. Very Dissappointed that a place like this could be so badly run and the staff have no care factors to guests.

Beautiful experience. ”
The cabin is very small. But there's a glass sliding door opening up to a small porch which shows the Philippines tallest mountain, Mt. Apo. So it was ok despite the feeling of being cramped up. Another setback is there's no bathroom inside the cabin. You have to go outside, kinda difficult at night. But the food was good. The staff are so nice. The weather was cool. Plus the ambiance is just perfect for relaxation. Over-all, it was a beautiful stay. Thank you.

Banguio in the South ”
Me, my mom and two brothers went to Davao during Christmas 2013. We didn't expect the place to be very far from Davao City but the place was breathtaking! It was like Baguio in the south with a grand view to Mt. Apo. There are many other places to visit around the area so take 2-3 days when you are planning to stay. The room is just box type with double decks and a small sala at the bottom. Simple but warm. The food is reasonable and there's free videoke!

A Mountain Traveler's Haven”
Mt. Apo Highlands Resort and Lake Mirror is good for family and friends camping adventure. The resort offers a natural view and experience of the place where there is a lake offered for boat riding, fishing and swimming! There are 25 things that you can do around also (which was posted on a wall) and it refer to places of interest you can visit in nearby vicinity like the Virgin Falls, Hiking, Tribal Community Exposure, zipline, CIVET coffee, and much more. However, you may need to prepare additional fees for tour guides and motorcycle rides where these are the means of transportation. Cons include poor road going there. It is difficult to go on hiking if rainy since it will become muddy.

Abenteuerlich”
Abendessen on lake side...no, lasst es anliefern! Fuer Rucksackwanderer zum Mt. Apo ok aber nichts fuer Leute die Komfort erwarten! Gegenwert furs Geld... fraglich!
