My family has good experience at muong thanh grand Cua Dong. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is well although there are not too much meal,. However, with the such cheap night , it was resealable.

It is near to the city centre, next to the ways to Cua Lo Beach and airport. The hotel is a peaceful and quiet place which surrounding of some hospitals. It is recommended for a short stay or sleeping one night.

Good value stay, dont recommend food and drinks”
Good value for money. A bit poor on the F&B. Ordered a fresh orange juice with no sugar. Staff brought 1st time a very sugary juice glass. Then I asked for a 2nd time - tasted liked bottled orange juice no explaination or anything. Rather than that, front desk and laundry staffs were good.

Although a little isolated the hotel has a class of it's own. Lovely rooms, great food and friendly staff. Only downside, the beer was not cold enough.

My bicycle helmet was stolen in the garage under the eyes of a security ”
We were there 4 nights. The hotel is nice and clean. A bit far away from the city center but that’s ok as Vinh is just a small town. The staff could speak better English but as we are in a development country we can live with at least some language skills in English at the reception. We arrived in Vinh on a bicycle as we currently cycle around the world. Usually the Hotels we stay allow us to take our bicycles into the room as each of it has a value of around 2000€. In this Hotel, they didn‘t allow and we had to put our bikes into the garage which is protected by a security guard. We found a place where we could lock the bikes with a chain on a big pipe. Unfortunately we forgot to take our helmets with us in the room as we trusted the security guy. Never the less on of our helmets was stolen after our last night. The hotel did not charge the 2 water bottles we took from the mini bar as good will for the incident and the lady at the reception offered me her motorcycle helmet...

Absolutely Amazing Value”
Maybe we visited at the very very low season but for the price we paid you really could not ask for more. The buffet breakfast for two was alone worth the rate we paid. In fact there were so many options for breakfast you could easily eat enough for the entire day. The rooms are large and comfortable with a large bathroom - you even get some toiletries. Check in was straight forward but make sure to take your passport away from the check in staff - a throw back to soviet days when the hotel would keep your passport. Check out was a bit clumsy as we had to wait for room service to verify we had used nothing from the minibar. Given what we paid for the night we could not complain about anything but if one day the hotel remembers it is a 4 star hotel it should try to do something about the atmosphere which is a little lifeless in larger than needed public spaces.

Good Hotel, but...!”
We spend there 4 nights. The hotel is nice and clean but not many people of the staff speak English. We wanted our room to be cleaned while we were out in the city but the reception staff did not understand. Unfortunately they did not show that they didn’t understand and acted like they understood and smiled. After we camE back we were disappointed because no room service was done. If you are lucky, there is a woman at the reception that is able to speak English if there are the two guys, look for a translator. Beside that you can have a good time there. Hotel is on a 3 Star on a western scale.

Room is clean and breakfast is good. Local market is near by. There is not many restaurants around hotel. Took bus to go to Cualo beach 15K VND 30min.
