Amazing”
The hotel was amazing..they upgraded the rooms to premium rooms and the view from the balcony was mesmerising. The location is 6-7 mins away from the M.G Market and just 2-3 buildings away from sher e punjab hotel..the service was very good they provided us with everything we asked for..and the staffs are very polite and courteous and always ready to help. Specially Aniket..He helped us alot with the luggages and cab..The hotel and the staffs just made our stay better..thank you soo much for everything😊

Excellent staff and courteous gracious people. Right from the cleanliness to promptness of service.. the intent to help and positive attitude of the folks would make your stay very very pleasant. Their restaurant also dishes out yummy food. The breakfast is awesome.. We stayed for 4 nights .. on the final day's checkout they even cared to serve us breakfast in the very early hours of the morning which goes on to show at length their willingness to help their guests... the manager Mr. Sudip and also Mr. Prabhat are thorough gentlemen. Also special shout out to Rajesh who takes care of the restaurant was very nice and accommodative. I would be back here at a heartbeat whenever I visit Gangtok again. Best Regards, Nodes of Travel

Hi All I stayed at the Muscatel Grand Silk Route property for 3 nights and would like to describe my stay there as absolutely pleasant and recommendation worthy. The property has close proximity to the MG Road which is a value add. The staff and in particular Mr.Prabhat is a gem of person who goes above and beyond to help the guests with even their smallest requests. Wonderful property to stay at Gangtok”
Hotel is a good choice. Rooms are well maintained and MG Marg is just 10 mins walking distance. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. Specially to mention MR Ankit, helped a lot during late check in. Food is really good.

Excellent place, just a small walk away from M.G. Marg. Staffs were particularly helpful. Especially Mr. Pravat was very helpful. He guided and helped us get taxis to local as well as Nathula pass, changu lake and also for our subsequent trips.

Stay was comfortable. Must try poha in breakfast. Top notch cleanliness and service. Only con is location, you have to climb high to reach the main road for taxi.

Overall good experience but costly”
I think overall experience was good although seemed overpriced as it claimed to be 4 star but it isn't, no buffet and less varieties of food items, not any extra ordinary views from the hotel room. But over all cleanliness, prompt staff response, very good housekeeping was available. If you don't have any budget constraints i would highly recommend this but if you wanna stay for a budget types accommodation try booking maybe early or look for options.

Lift Out of Order”
Property is located at very steep slope nearby Hungry Jack Hotel. MG March is Accessible via staircase ( 200 Steps almost). Rooms are quite cozy. Staff is very helpful & would be ready to help you with all requirements. Set Breakfast is provided with 3 different varieties of option ( 1 North Indian + 1 Egg + 1 Tea / Coffee + 1 Juice) . Room was provided on 4th Floor & lift was out of order during entire stay. Suitable for cost under 1200 with the amenities & services being provided . No power back up arrangement was there, They was power outage for 6+ hours

Budget option ”
This is a great budget-friendly option for families. But if you are with older people they will suffer as there is no working lift and they have to climb stairs. There are no rooms on the ground floor wither. The rooms are smaller. Even tho the bathrooms of various rooms share a parallel shade window as mentioned in another review, we did not find that to be an issue as it was placed very high. The staff is very friendly. The bread Omelette for breakfast was also very good

Lovely staff”
The staff here are the best! - delightful, friendly and most helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Internet is slow, unreliable and there is no 4G signal in the hotel. Hot water, but pressure is insufficient to run the shower.
