What Beach?”
The hotel is decent. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even if you have no Japanese skills. They offer a coin laundry, a breakfast buffet (for a fee), bicycle rentals and a small convenience store in the lobby where you can buy some snacks and souvenirs. My biggest complaint is the location. The property sort of sits by itself away from everything and is not conveniently located near any restaurants, convenience stores, public transportation or many places of interest. Be prepared to walk at least 10 minutes before reaching any of these things. What's particularly disappointing is that it's called the Beachside Hotel. However, Naminoue Beach is a small sandbar with a roped off area to swim. Don't expect the large sandy areas, open swimming spots and bustling boardwalks of more prominent beaches. Overall, this was a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. However, I'd recommend finding another place outside Naha if you're looking for that great beach getaway.

Good place to stay and unwind”
The Naha Beach Side Hotel is in a great location if you are looking to stay away from the tourist sites. The view from either the ocean or city view rooms is great! The only down side is that it's a little away from major streets and the metrolink. Short taxi ride takes care of that though. Something I didn't beforehand also is that there a several "Soap lands" nearby.

Great hotel with low price”
I was staying at Naha Beach Side Hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is really close to airport. With 5-10 mins walk you may find a lots of places to eat and little Japanese bbq bar. It's 15 mins walk to the nearest subway, but I think with the price I paid. It's worth to walk. The red light district is in the valley across the street. You may skip that area by walk to next block, so it's not big deal. In fact, I found it's very interesting to see. The front desk can barely speak English but willing to help. The room is small but it have what you need. The bed is soft and comfortable. I would highly recommended this hotel if you have limited budget. With the price I paid, I had nothing to complain. PS. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment on this.

My HOME in NAHA”
I stayed for 3 nights. -I sent a message informing them of my late check-in, they replied right away and told me that they will wait for me. During my stay, they have front desk staff until wee hours. Very acommodating! -I booked a smoking room but I dont smoke, I emailed them about this because the non-smoking room with a bayview is unavailable - they replied telling me that they will refresh the room before I check in so I wont smell anything... And true enough, the room smells fresh and they left the air freshener spray in the room. The view from my room is stunning! - The staffs can speak english and very friendly. They clean my room everyday with fresh linens, clothes, toiletries. -The beach is near. Kokusaidori is also near, you can a taxi but I usually walk. Most of the tourist spots in Naha is walking distance. I walk everyday. If you want taxi, some are always waiting outside. -They have a machine at lobby where you can check out information about other spots.

the naha beach hotel was a very very nice hotel.great location right in the middle of the busy area of naha. and the beach is so nice at night. great service and great food. the resturant is a must. it had outstanding japanese food. i would love to go visit again.

Good location, great price.”
Like I said good price, location and cleanliness. Close to the beach and marine leisure park, only 20 minutes to the monorail, but there's always a taxi nearby. There were only a few bad things about the hotel. The rooms are small, but you get what you pay for. But my real pain were the trash bins in the room. The were awfully tiny and could barely hold anything more than a rolled up magazine. Second the bed was pretty uncomfortable(metal springs feel like bedrock when you sleep on a foam mattress). Third while being close to the beach near the hotel itself there are like no restaurants. You usually have to walk into the main city (while dodging like 30 soap lands) to get to anywhere that has decent food. My rating 4/5.

No beach, but it's nice”
Disappointed because there was just a view on an highway, definitely not romantic. But the hotel is clean, classy, has these funny electronic toilets. It's a bit far (if you got heavy luggages), but Naha downtown is small anyway. You can rent bicycles for a very cheap price, and because there's not many cars around, it's great to wander in the neighbourhood. Close to a memorial and a temple. The breakfast wasn't bad, some traditional okinawan food, some more common. Not excellent in my opinion, but not bad either.

Nice location for first 2 days at Naha.”
Nice location if it’s your first 2 days at Naha. First day you can swim at Naminoue Beach just 10 minutes away (walk) at the hotel. Second day you can stroll at Kokusai street, or you may plan to go to somewhere else near the city proper. Polite staff. Rooms complete with pajamas & basic amenities.

Almost Good”
It was Almost good. The room is beautiful with cleanliness. but it's not wide. and All rooms has small balcony. beach side rooms could have nice harbor view !!. We could see ocean, harbor, Air port, and sometime sunset. The guest will be careful that the hotel can't serve diner y morning only, the geust should have diner out side. Even there are not good restrant nire hotel and food shops.

Too Small”
Although the hotel is located in Naha, which is somewhat close to the city centre, it is rather small. The room that we were in, its air-conditioner doesn't work and so we had to open the balcony door for the whole night; however, the problem is, it was very noisy because those rooms are all facing directly to the bridge.

Close to airport and comfortable room”
I am happy with its close proximity to airport (5-10mins by cab at 1100Y) as I have an early flight back and it also provides free shuttle van service to airport from 9-11 am at half-hr interval but at first come first serve basis. Bed is big and comfortable but the toilet is small. The wow service is the provision of a free size pyjamas. Though it is big, I can still wear it by folding the sleeves and pants. I did not have time to roam the surroundings but I saw a subway fast food restaurant nearby and sea side is a distance from the hotel. Free bicycle rental is available but not the electric ones which require payment either at the onset or after some time. Reception staff was helpful too who bothered to inform me when a seat on airport shuttle van became available due cancellation by another hotel patron. All in all, I am satisfied with the stay.

Alright stay”
The hotel was alright, room was quite big for Japanese standards, staff were friendly and welcoming. I hired a car so most attractions were easy to get by but if you don't have a car, I could imagine it being a pain to get anywhere in Okinawa. There's not many good restaurants near by either. Room was clean but you could tell with the decor it was kind of old but maintained reasonably. Room had all the facilities a single traveler needs. I didn't have breakfast there so can't say what the food was like. Otherwise I recommend this hotel if you're on a budget and just using the hotel to sleep.

Good Value for Money but Bad Location”
For the last 3 days of my Okinawa trip, I decided to relax and book a decent hotel. Beach Side Hotel was a decent deal. Here's the bad things to note about this hotel: 1. It is located at an inconvenient place - there's hardly anything within 1 km, except a Subway restaurant. 2. No one on staff spoke any English, and there's one really annoying guy working there. 3. The breakfast buffet is horrible! Don't waste 750 yen on it. Here's the good things about this hotel: 1. It's next to a driving range, and for staying at the beachside hotel you can get 100 free balls to whack! 2. They have free bicycle(s) you can use up to 2 hours each time. 3. There is a free airport shuttle bus that departs every half hour between 9:00 - 11:30am

Very conveinent hotel, wonderful room with great v”
the location of the hotel is right next to the sea, so you can enjoy a wonderful view from your room. the room is very big, and clean. it has a body massage chair inside the room and you can sit on it and relax yourself! i have never seen this before, what a good idea! the hotel provide free breakfast, the breakfast was ok. overall, i would recommend people to use this hotel!

nice hotel with view”
the hotels location is in my opinion good - despite other reviews. If you expect sea view, you cant expect to be centrally located the same time. You can easily walk to the skytrain in about 20min, and still you can enjoy the sea view on one of the little balkonies. But be informed by default the balkonies come without chair....and you have to fight hard to get a chair provided to enjoy the view you paid for. ( the double rooms come only with one stool) but apart from that, theres nothing to complain about. Rooms are clean, quiet, and for that price certainly recommended.

Decent hotel, could be better”
The hotel was ok, but had some drawbacks. The location is questionable, about a $10 (1000 Yen) can ride from the airport. It is closer to what passes for a beach in Naha which is small and crowded. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearest monorail station / town with the space between bring industrial or full of gentlemens clubs. There isn't much around the hotel for restaurants ect. And the on-site restaurant only does a mediocre buffet breakfast.
