It’s basic accomodation, I took the single with shared toilet and bath, but it was completely fine for a week. For the money I was happy. Great area, felt safe, and was 30 mins straight into west end. Northern Line is fab for getting you everywhere in central London.

Staff were friendly, 2 main problems, heating not working in room I was in and it had been cold and no hot water in the mornings so had to boil water in the kettle. Room was really basic, carpet could do with being renewed and a splash of paint would help on the walls. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful there.

Acceptable”

Unspeakably rude man at reception insisted I had to pay him because Agoda hadn't paid him. Later he said it wasn't that, I owed him another £10 per night. Still don't know what I paid him for... Hairs in bathroom: dust in bedroom. Lovely breakfast staff though.

overpriced and ...”

this place is overpriced for what it is, the feel of the rooms is not clean, coffee stains on mugs etc, place is very unorthodox and felt itchy from the moment i walked in. the interent would not work either, and breakfast had enough dishes for about 20% of the people it seemed with no real order as everything was a mess.

Total waste”

Shower cold, no heating ( stayed dec was -3 outside) charged more than stated, poo on the wall, shower handle fell off, smelt, where else do I go from here the windows were like a wind tunnel

The Bare Minimum”

The hotel staff was very kind but upon our inspection of the room we found hair in the bed that did not belong to us. In addition to that, the door handle nearly fell off when we first entered the room so immediately we called to have it fixed. The second night there was water dripping from the ceiling above the shower. There was apparently nothing they could do about it but luckily it stopped after several hours. All in all the room was barely good for sleeping in and I would definitely not recommend this to others.

staff were ok but room was very small, had to use scruffy, unclean and shared toilet. did not use shower in room as it needed cleaning as did wash basin. room smelled of cigarettes and was unclean. would not stay there again.

Bad. small room, very small bed and shower cubicle”

My stay was bad on account of the small room size, the very small bed, the very small shower cubicle and the shared rest rooms (rest rooms not located in the room). May be I did not understand what I booked for.

needed a hotel in this location as visiting a relative nearby who unfortunately didn't have room to put us up. apparently this is a reasonably priced hotel for london but it was very basic. no hangers in wardrobe! no shelf or table by sink (awkwardly positioned in corner of room) to put toiletries on whilst washing. no glass/plastic cup for drink of water. no tea or coffee-making facilities but could live with that. shower actually in corner of room. had to go to reception to request hairdryer. 2 toilets down corridor and a few steps, one separated by connecting wall to someone's room, the other with a dodgy lock. not even a simple hook on bedroom door to hang coat/bathrobe. room in need of a really good clean. would not stay here again.

Schreckliches Hotel”

Als wir in London ankamen haben wir erstmals vom Taxifahrer erfahren, dass wir das falsche National Hotel gebucht haben, wir wollten eigentlich das Royal National buchen. Der Taxifahrer teilte uns mit, dass sich das Hotel am höchsten Punkt von London befindet. Der Vorteil ist man hat direkt vor dem Hotel die Möglichkeit den Bus zu benützen, was jedoch eine Weile dauert bis man in der Stadt ist. Als wir ins Zimmer gehen konnten, hatten wir erstmals einen Lachanfall, ich hatte noch nie in meinem Leben so ein schreckliches Hotel gebucht. Wir haben ein Single room gebucht. Die Dusche befindet sich gleich neben dem Bett, das Lavabo ist absolut nicht das neuste. Das „Badezimmer“ ist in keinem separaten Raum, das heisst man kann sich gegenseitig beim Duschen zusehen. Dazu kommt noch wir hatten kein WC im Zimmer und beim WC im Gang ging die Spüle nicht. Am nächsten Tag wollten wir gleich ein neues Zimmer mit einem separaten Badezimmer. Wir bekamen auch ein neues Zimmer, jedoch mussten wir noch 40 Pfund dazu zahlen. Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich sie haben einem auch immer geholfen.
