A chance to really switch off”
Nature's Eye takes a bit of effort to get to about 1 hour from the port and its a 10 min walk to the resort when you arrive. Stayed in sunset cottage next to the sea, the resort is eco friendly a lot of the materials used are natural or recycled. The absence of wifi and poor phone signal means there is no option to switch off. The food at the resort was simple but well cooked . Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for a couple of days of relaxation.

The owner and its staff go beyond boundaries... they are very very accommodating... they treat every guest a part of the family... a must visit place! Highly Recommended! The food is also outstanding! Views are Breath taking...

Not for weak knees”
The place is located a bit far the usual beach areas of Guimaras. This is ideal for people who are looking to spend time with nature and far from the crowded areas. I actually liked the place only that the location of the dining area is quite a hike. Also, I received an e-mail that we could come earlier than the usual check in time where in we actually arrived 5 hours earlier so we spent the waiting time for the island hopping. sadly when we came back at 2PM the room wasn't ready yet. That's fine with me, Cai the resort manager was apologetic. Only that it was a bit of inconvenience to someone who came from an an island tour and badly needing a cold bath. To add, the food was fine only that it was overly priced and you are left no choice but to eat what was prepared. In short, there is no menu so make to contact the resort about your food arrangement prior to travel. I'm sure they'd be glad to make the arrangements. Overall, the place and our experience was great.

Very Peculiar Place”
First, off it is a mission to reach this place, once you do you need to hump your baggage over the 10min walk through the woods to this so-called "resort", which consists of a 2 possibly 3 finished Huts as well as a number unfinished buildings (which seem to have been that way for a while). Or first room had an outside toilet and shower which was interesting and unique but needed a good cleaning... this Nature hut was positioned on a cliff, which gave a great view, but as a large portion of the surrounding ground had fallen away into sea recently .. gave us reason to sleep uneasy. We were not awoken by the sound of nature by that of banging house music from the local town which seems to be played daily for no logical reason. Oh well, let just enjoy the food... There is no menu you eat what is given to you. Nature Eye provides totally chemical (u)nutrition so we tried our chances to have some Fresh crab, we got crab shells filled with potatoes, carrots, and eggs but it seemed the crab meat had crawled away. Ok so we planned a boat trip to see the local islands the next day. Despite arranging with the staff the day before we need to chase them up the following day. the boat driver took 45 min to arrive which we did not mind until we found that this was added as a billable hour. My Recommendation is, If you can't help your self to fight off the urge to visit this place then stop by this place in the day, rent the boat for an island hopping trip and then leave. As for Value, this is not worth the travelling or visit this place. Total overpriced rooms for what you get delivered.
