Best Hotels near the Beach in Disney - Maingate West

"The room smelled like animal urine and feces, the carpet was about 30 yrs old and stained with feces smears, beds were on broken bases and sinking, only half of the lights worked, the alarm clock was broken, and a giant bed bug crawled right on top of the comforter as I was entering the room!! I wouldn’t stay here even if I was homeless, the streets are cleaner!"

"we stayed at this hotel for a week while visiting the local disney and theme parks in orlando. the rooms were clean and reasonably spacious and the overall condition of the premises were good. there was an initial mixup with the name of the hotel which resulted in our transfer dropping us off at another nearby hotel because they had swapped names and didn't inform agoda. then when we finally arrived they could not find the agoda booking. staff in general were found wanting in several areas. they appeared ill-informed about most inquiries, provided wrong or misleading information to customers (most noteably the theme park advisors in the foyer) and were not overly friendly. the breakfasts were boring after day one with what looked and tasted like powdered eggs and some disgusting waffles being the highlight and served on paper plates with plastic forks. while this seems to be a usa thing its very tacky and certainly does nothing for the environment."

"Pleasant stay at Ramada. The hotel is located on the westside right off of Highway 194 a few miles from Disney. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. A few of them you can walk to but most of them you will need transportation to get to. The hotel was equipped with a large outdoor swimming pool that was kid friendly, clean, and for convenience a table with stocked towels to dry off when getting out of the pool. The room was adequate with internet, and cable t.v. Im sure most people choosing this hotel are doing so b/c of the proximity to Disney's theme parks, Universal Studio's, and/or SeaWorld. I paid around $55 and used this hotel just to sleep since most of my time was spent exploring the theme parks. If your not here enjoying Disneyworld this is not a hotel for you!"

"8 minutes (by car) from every Disney Park Nice rooms and clean Kitchen Pool always clean Restaurant and grocery store near by. We loved it!"
