Hotels near golf course in North Shore

"I was firstly made to feel very welcome and the Northern Star had a really nice feel to it, The hotel was immaculate, Conor and Brendan are absolutely great !. The room was first class and the breakfast was excellent. I will stay at the Northern Star again no doubt. As for the location you only have a minutes walk to the train station and only a few minutes to the North shore where you can jump on a tram right down to the south pier for a couple of quid !. The local pubs and bars are also very welcoming with a great atmosphere !. I really look forward to seeing these guy's again soon."

"The owners were amazing nothing was to much trouble . They made you feel so welcome and were very knowledgeable about what to see where to go how to get the best tickets anything we wanted to know . Accomadation was great clean and comfortable breakfast brilliant cooked just how I like it .Top marks all round A Big Thank you "

"Hotel easy to get to from train station (taxi very reasonable £4) as per flew into Manchester, Hotel on the Nth Prom, easy to access all Prom's by tram (lovely way to travel), quick check-in at hotel no delay. Small pool and steam room in hotel, all very clean. English Breakfast excellent. Staff not rude but not over helpful (we asked for help several times but had to find out the answers ourselves, just for directions and information details, they didn't sell their home town well. Seemed under staffed in the restaurant on the second morning, long wait for breakfast to arrive to the table, but not a big issue as we were not in a hurry. Over all our weekend stay was excellent (we had 2 twin rooms) and the hotel covered our needs for a fun weekend for a 40th Birthday in Blackpool."
