"Very ho hum, marginal value, we had two rooms both small, one smelled very strongly of new carpet and curtains enough to give me a headache. We stayed two nights rooms were tidied but the beds were not made, carpets not vacuumed, location very good, easy walk to the sea and restaurants. We are seasoned travelers and there is no doubt the Grange offers poor value. Should have been rated two or optimistically three star, room rates should be 25% lower."

"The hosts are very friendly, nice and helpful. There was a misunderstanding, and though they do not accommodate children below 16 years old, they still let me and my 8-year-old daughter stay. The room and the property are very clean and well kept and the it was lovely falling asleep with the waves crashing to the shore in the background. The breakfast is your typical English breakfast and vegetarians are well catered for (especially the mushrooms were very delicious and the vegetarian sausages were good, too!). They even provided soy milk for us. This is a quiet place and you will get a good night's sleep. Highly recommended! Thank you Helen and Michael, we will be back in eight years' time when Mina will be 16!"

"Warm welcome with tea tray in the visitor lounge. Well appointed newly decorated bedroom with large bathroom and up to date tv, DVDs were available to borrow. After a comfortable night we were presented with an outstanding breakfast, usual cereals and toast and then a freshly cooked breakfast from the menu - which included eggs benedict, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, waffles, bacon and maple syrup! Our hosts were able to recommend local restaraunts for our evening meal,all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended."
