Staff are nice, they kept our big luggage while our 1 night visit to Sado Island. Room is bit old, but well renovated, clean, pleasant. Close to Niigata station and Bus station, convenient.

Near Niigata Station with affordable price. ”
3 min walking from Niigata Station. It's an old hotel but we'll maintained using conventional key and centralised heating unit (winter December) whereby you heat your room with adjusting the fan speed (no temperature setting). There are 7 of us with 3 adults, 2 seniors and 2 kids. We booked 3 small double room but the hotel staff presumed we put 3 persons in each room and last room is a smaller single room but same bed size. In actual fact I will expect 3 similar rooms regardless of how we arrange it. Ended up 2 adults will have to squeeze into the dingle room as there is no bigger room to change. Otherwise the staff was helpful and friendly (was trying very hard to try to accommodate us but no avail). Overall the experience was nostalgic and memorable.

There is dangerous chicken bbq/fried very tasty just opposite this hotel. You can explore surronding area lots of full and free tax shop.is nearby too. We went to sado island and hotel is near niigata station and bus terminal so convenient.

Not even 5 minute walk from the JR station and surrounded by a wide range of eateries. The twin beds are wider than regular so room to sprawl and two pillows with different firmness to choose from to ensure a good sleep. More than enough space for us two and would stay there again! Recommend a great eatery on the ground floor of the JR station, Chabu-Zen. Ate there twice!!

The hotel is located near to train station and around the hotel, there are plenty of choices of local foods. The room is sufficient big for 3 of us. Room is clean, will definitely come back to stay in our next trip.

Not the best option around”
The hotel is very near the Niigata JR station but other than that, nothing else is great about the hotel. A bit run down. Room was a bit noisy due to the bar below when I left the window open for ventilation. But when I closed the window, I could still hear the next doors now and then. Sheets are clean though.

Easy Location and good for a night stay.”
It’s a short walk from JR Niigata station passing the tourist information and public bus stands.The hotel is not at a noisy area but you can many eateries nearby.Stayed one night and did some laundry which took forever with the dryer to get it dry.

The price is cheaper than similar hotel in Niigata including the breakfast. Together with the closeness to the JR station, it seems to the best choice for budget traveller like me.

The staff are nice but the room is small in a small building, and the room rate is too high. I’ve paid USD 70 for Sat night but I think the room is only worth USD 35.

A Great Stay”
We had a great stay at Niigata Keihin Hotel. Like many other hotels, it's conveniently located near the station. We had an easy, welcoming check-in, and had no issues with leaving our bags, despite our lack of common language. We would certainly stay here again.

One Night in Niigata”
The room was clean and came with the standard amenities of a Japanese hotel. It was about 10 minutes walking distance from Niigata station. There are a lot of places to eat in the vicinity.

Hotel staff doesn't speak English, only use the translation app for communication, not helpful on enquiry as they don't understand you and didn't want to try to go beyond that. I won't stay there again if I go to Niigata again.

Nice budget hotel”
Just around the corner from the station. Lots of places to eat. Clean and comfortable room. It has wifi which is great for my phone and tab. Most other hotel provides only wired internet.
