Many new fancy hotels opened in recent two years, but Niseko Northern Resort Annupuri is still the best in my mind. Super easy access to the slope and lifts, real ski-in ski-out :-) Nice staffs, friendly, resourceful :-) Nice food, I really like the buffet, especially the beef rice bowl (牛丼) for the breakfast :-) For the past 5 seasons, I stayed here in a row，wish to come back again soon.

Great ski in ski out hotel. Even equipment rental was done at the hotel where the lockers were at. Extremely convenient! Tried out all the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinners and really enjoyed them. Didn't even leave the property for 5 whole days apart from snowboarding, yet didn't feel bored at all. buffet had easy options for vegetarians, pescatarians. overall a wholesome variety of dishes. eat, sleep, snowboard, onset, repeat!

All things are excellent, except the Annupuri is a little bit far from Hirafu which is the main area of Niseko, but if you just need a place to ski, there is no complain at all with the hotel and resort.

+ve - Big roomy reception area, dining area - very well kept and and maintained room - love the bathroom, toilet - love the osen within the hotel - love the breakfast spread - great dinner buffet spread - within the ski park - ask for room with mountain view - ve - maybe be a challenge for non drivers to travel out due to location - most restaurants are closed during low season - staff are helpful thou they may not speak English well - no free bottle drinking water, you have to drink from the tap - Y150- will be charge per person, per night for the Osen, whether you use it or not

Great summer stay ”
The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Very spacious and comes well equipped with everything you need. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. They spoke very good English and even helped us to make a reservation at a popular restaurant for dinner. Indoor and outdoor hot springs were nice and had good views of the mountain. Very serene and relaxed experience. Coin laundry is present with dryer. Great feature for those who need to do laundry during a long extended trip overseas. Buffet breakfast provided was excellent. Great quality and many choices. It also has a great view of the ski slopes.

This hotel surprised us ..big clean room and very friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast was also quite good. The best was the soft white snow not only seen by our rooms’ window but all over the place .. overall we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you for everything ..

Overall is a very good hotel, including helpful staff and their buffet lunch and breakfast is above average. The restaurant in the lounge open till mid-night is a big plus to me, which also provide quality menu. Only the down side is the condition of the equipment rental in the hotel is a bit disappointing, other rental store in hirafu offers much better gears at the same price.

It is a great place if you are into skiing/snowboarding, else there is not much to do around the hotel. It is located about 35-40mins bus ride to the Grand Hirafu area where there are more restaurants and things to do.

ski in and ski out hotel with a nice onsen outdoor”
convenient to ski cuz hotel is next to annupuri but quite surprised there is no bell boys for guest who just arrive with the luggages . and only one thing that i really dont like about this hotel is the smell of smoke from smoking room through out the floor . my room is 151 i need to walk pass these smoking 20-30metre which is so annoying and effect for my health(i m allergic for smoking). i think they should have change to All non smoking room . Many children stay in the hotel they should consider about public ‘s health .

We had a pleasant stay in Niseko Northern Annupuri. Breakfast and dinner buffet was great! Easily accesible by bus if you are coming from Sapporo or Otaru. The hotel is also part of the Niseko United shuttle service, so you can easily go to other ski resorts. Plus , you can take a bus that will bring you directly to Chitose Airport (just make sure to make a reservation with the staff) .

Rustic hotel needs a bit of an update”
Mind you we came during fall so this hotel/lodge is probably best for ski in/out. The onsens are nice and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms themselves could use an update and the fact that there's no way to control room temperature was a bit of a discomfort but they provided me with a fan and I kept the window open. I think for such a large hotel, I think the priority for an update is individual AC/Heating. Also, there was a lack of plugs for plug things. Otherwise, the staff are great and speak English.

Pro - onsen, with quality body care products. Provide towels in onsen. Breakfast good. Staff service, top notch, especially front desk manager very helpful. Room spacious. Con - no air con in room. Fan provided. Went in summer, was OK when we opened the window. Fresh mountain air.

Great spot and lovely breakfast Buffett ”
The location is perfect awesome. Staff at reception was a bit cool still friendly . Love the buffet there and it’s great value. Even though I am vegetarian still get to have a few choices, especially congee and yogurt in the morning. Only thing was can tell the building and room has a bit of history, toilet and bathtub are obviously not as new as those ones in Sapporo. We did have a good time regardless.

Pros: Good place for ski as you don’t need to carry your gear around, view from lobby hotel is amazing and cozy! Room is standard and old but clean. Cons: staff is a bit inflexible. Requested late check out (just for 1 hour) as my sister is unwell but was denied.
