Terrible Staff”
The staff were so unhelpful to myself and my group of friends. The housekeeping walked into my room whilst i was semi naked, the receptionist then called me a liar when I complained about it, and to top it off, when the manager came out, he already knew about the housekeeping and tried to justify it by saying it's ok because the man didn't come all the way into the room. Disgusting service.

Very horried place . Had to check out at 3am as it was that cold . They turn the heating off at 8pm till 8am. The rooms and building smelled of old and the room stunk. The noise was just on going. The beds was 2x single pushed together . The room was not clean. I wanted a refund and got told yes but never got anything . The place is like a stop off for random guys with girls . Like they rent to anyone and I mean anyone ! Don't go here pay the extra to go else where !

My room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. All shower products supplied which were very nice. Close to the motorway and other facilities. No complaints at all.

Unfortunately we were greeted in our toilet by what one would call a "Floater" in the toilet bowl and by the smell it had been there a while as the room smelt of this. Whilst the bathroom was generally clean the detail cleaning was missed with grime built up behind the bath tap and in the corners. The heating system was rather random with the fans going off in the middle of the night disturbing our sleep. The beds were comfortable and other room facilities were ok, though being left only 1 tea bag, 1 coffee sachet and limited milk and sugar was a let down.

good stay the staff were very good we had a problem with the heating,we were given a small heater at reception which did the trick so no problem the only thing i would say is not the hotel but the Wilton pub where breakfast and other meals are offered very poor in quailiy and service so if you are staying here i think you should find somewhere else to eat

Hotel had issues with taking payment from agoda on our arrival and spent half hour on phone to rectify... otherwise a good experience. Breakfast was served from adjacent building but was v reasonably priced and spot on!!

The bed was horrendous in Room 19...lumpy, springs noisy .. and very uncomfortable. Woke you up when you moved naturally in your sleep. when looked at there were two singles pushed together

Perfect for our one night visit meeting friends who were staying in Middleton. A convenient (motorway junction close by) quiet and pleasant location.

Blame it on the pig farm ”
On entering the room there was a smell of stale urine/ public conveniences - possibly a dirty mop had been used to clean bathroom floor , I'm not sure - however it was after 9 pm when we got there and had a 7 yr old to settle down so ignored it ! Unfortunately we were then hit with the obvious smell of cigarette smoke . As a family of non smokers we found this quite offensive . We could not source the smell but closed the window in case it was coming from outside . The smell continued ! My husband thought it may have been coming from the bathrooms ventilation system . We mentioned this to the gentleman on reception at the time who came up to the room and told us he could not smell anything but perhaps we could smell the pig farm down the road ! He was quite dismissive . However the bed was large and comfortable but it has gone downhill
