Prima kamer in een prima hotel. De locatie is voortreffelijk, maar renoveren zou op zijn plek zijn geweest. De badkamers en deuren met sloten zijn gedateerd en het bed geeft niet het nodige comfort om bij een city trip op te kunnen laden voor de volgende dag.

I have lived in the city all my life and was not aware of this hotel right in the heart of the city, the room and filicities were great all that you need was impressed with all the staff from checking in to checking out I have never come across this hotel on any other site and therefore will be using this site again, if I had to complain I'd say the external sounds were noticeable however only when the window was open this is due to the very warm night..

You get what you pay for. A budget hotel, bit grim and needs a refurb but I still had a good nights sleep. It was cheap and didn't expect anything else, this is better than the Britiania Hotel next door.

Good central location ”

Parking on street is free between 8pm and 8am. You can pay by phone so don’t have to get up and load a meter. Rooms are fine and comfy. I was near some crazy loud generator so an open window on a hot night let in a fair bit of noise. I was tired so not a big issue. Both times I paid under £50 for a room. At that price it’s a good stop over location.

Perfect location good value for money”

Very central, close to everything the location is perfect. The staff from the reception were excellent with a super welcome. The room is basic, but the bed is confortable and you have everything in the room. price are really affordable. I would go again for sure. thank you

Everything you need for a short stay in Manchester. Lift to all floors and spacious rooms. Really good shower in bathroom. Short walk to the tram stop which goes all over the city.

Great prices, location, in the center of Manchester, always so clean and amazing staff. Me and my partner want to say a big thanks you to the staff from Gardens Hotel, specially Michael, who always, with goodwill and patient, help us to know more about the city and places we wanted yo go.

Good value basic accommodation ”

Room was clean and generally quiet. Bed was ok. Ensuite was cramped but ok. Key card needed swiping multiple times to get into the room. Was told at the desk that this was a common problem. Generally satisfied with the stay.

A little better this time”

More improvement required on the maintenance of the hotel. Rooms are not sound proof and can be very noisy and annoying when u are trying to get some rest I was assigned a higher floor which I must say it’s a little better than lower level floor as it no longer have the noise from the street sounds

Good budget option close to Manchester Piccadilly”

I arrived late and left early – so I don't know much about any facilities there might be. But I do know they have a really friendly 24-hour reception and it's just a short walk from/to Manchester Piccadilly station. That combined with a nice old building, a clean room and the very good price works perfect for my. I will come again.

Great location but poorly maintained”

The location is fantastic but the walls and the corridor are not sound proof I was given a level 1 room & corridor and near the lift and I couldn’t sleep at all due to the noise The heating is not working, the toilet lights are noisy The breakfast is cold but the service is alright I just don’t know what else to say It’s very disappointing

A decent place for the price”

Very good central location at a decent price. Breakfast was also good with freshly-made full English breakfast and a buffet with bread, fruit, cereal, etc. On the minus side, the walls are are thin and floors a bit creaky, so you can hear people talking or even walking in the hallway or the neighboring rooms. The rooms were also a bit more worn-down than the pictures had us believe, but not so bad it would have been a serious disappointment.

Delicious breakfast and good value. Nice places to sit and work quietly downstairs. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Excellent value for money. Despite being Friday night it was calm and restful. Good places for reasonably priced evening meals and picnic food on the doorstep. Buses handy, also close to train and coach stations.

Staff great, hotel convenient ”

Staff very helpful and willing to give a little extra to assure that you are having a good stay. No A/C but in Manchester, that usually isn't a problem. 5 min walk to Piccadilly Train Station and buses / trams are close. The only issue I had with hotel, which is a safety issue and I get it, is that lock the doors at 11 pm and you have to ring on intercom, your name and room number. And dodgy looking characters sitting on the steps of the hotel. Also, no guests are allowed with was fine for me as I understand the problems with inviting non guests back to your room.

Practical”

It was clean and the check in was easy. Excellent location right in the center and close to Piccadilly station. Unfortunately unable to open the window so had a bad sleep. No coffee jus tea. Toiletries provided and very nice bath towel.

Convenient location”

The location is unbeatable. Right in the middle between Piccadilly station,coach station and the shopping area, everything's just within few minutes of walk. However, the only window in my room was broken and cannot be opened, even there's a fan the room can get pretty hot during sunny days.
