Good value central hotel”
A lovely chic hotel in a good central position and bang next door to Victoria Station. The room was stylish and well equipped and seemed well soundproofed as no disturbance from outside noise or from other rooms. The breakfast included in the price was lovely and offered good variety. Luggage store on last day was also very handy.
Perfect experience in this hotel”
When you arrived Manchester Piccadilly, there’s a free bus take you in the city and one of the free bus’s bus stop is in front of this hotel. On the other hand the Victoria station is behind this hotel. The location is great and the room is clean and comfortable. When I back to Manchester, I must book this hotel again.
Very nice stay”
We stayed for 3 days, the hotel is new. Therefore, the bathroom/ toilet, bed, etc are all in excellent condition/ quality. Super clean and the staff are friendly, we didnt have a problem at all! This will be my first choice for a hotel in Manchester City Center!
A lovely surprise!”
At the price I paid, my expectations were not that high but I was in for a big surprise. The location was excellent for my needs - right next to Victoria Station and in walking distance to many of the attractions I wished to visit. But many buses and the tram went passed right past the hotel for my ventures further afield. And there was a free bus service to Piccadilly Station for the train required for my one day trip out of Manchester. Rooms were of a more than adequate size and the staff maintained them very well indeed. The staff, in general, were very friendly and accommodating and could not be faulted. I will definitely be staying again on my next visit to Manchester
Central location & cannot fault”
Room was immaculate. Breakfast was lovely good choice. Central location.
Great hotel brilliant location staff are friendly and welcoming
Everything amazing and helpful staff
Great stay central to every thing lovely room and staff are fantastic especially the young dark haired girl who served us breakfast .
Great location next to the station.
Beautiful hotel can’t fault
Was given a room on the 7th floor. Room was spacious and had a good view.
Very nice hotel”
The hotel location & facility are excellent. Newly & modernized built
Great Central Hotel”
A lovely hotel very central to everything in Manchester. Breakfast is lovely.
Our stay was enjoyable. The room was a good size with very comfortable beds. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Why spoil it all with an indifferent breakfast? I can't remember the last time I was given a pot of instant coffee. The bread was cheap and nasty tasting. What a shame
Room is big and tidy. Location is good
Good location. Small rooms”
We were initially placed in an accessible room however this was Agodas fault not the hotels. It would have been fine however the toilet flushed straight out onto the floor. They changed our room which again would have been great had the room not been dirty. Hairs on walls and bootprinta on floor. Toiletries are tiny and not enough for 2 people for one night and they would only give us one more. That said if you only want somewhere to sleep the location is great and bed is comfortable
Stayed one night at the Hotel Indigo in Manchester and was greatly disappointed with the stay. Upon arrival, my wife went into the hotel to ask about parking where she was met with a cold shoulder. after a few minutes she was eventually spoken to where in she was given a sheet of paper with some instructions on. As it transpires parking is available, but at an extra cost which is not mentioned when booking. Furthermore, you are meant to book in advance making the entire system confusing. Add to this the fact that the instructions on the paper are out of date and lacking information and it was an instant mess. Moving on, the rooms themself were spacious enough but slightly worn with chipped paint and scuffs on the walls, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, presumably from the drains. The amenities were OK but nothing special, but the bed was big and the toiletries were fresh and good quality. The bar down from the lobby was next, devoid of atmosphere or any semblance of service we decided to go elsewhere. Breakfast the next day and the offering was very poor. The cooked food which you order was old and vastly overcooked, presumably sitting under a hot lamp to ease service. The bacon was dry and tough, the fried eggs still swimming in oil and everything was thrown on the plate with no care or attention. The poached eggs were so overdone we could not eat them and sent them back asking for 2 boiled eggs instead....which we did not get because the staff decided to make poached eggs again despite our request. As for the continental buffet, very limited with no standouts at all. The only saving grace to the entire experience was Leah, the Filipina waitress who was lovely, kept smiling and talking, and did her best to keep things cheery. Upon returning to our room to pack up and leave, our key did not work. My wife asked one of thehousekeeping if she could access the room which she promptly did without checking who we were or following any security protocol.
No hair dryer in the room. The faucet in the bathroom is leaking
lovely hotel in the centre of Manchester friendly staff and clean
Nice place to stay with good prices
