Hygiene is ver te zoeken, maar wel een prima locatie”
De locatie is centraal in het centrum en ook de wifi is prima, helaas was de hygiëne beroerd. Bij aankomst was de wc bril nog nat, er zaten gaten in de lakens + haren op de kussen en de waterkoker zat vol met schimmel. De volgende dag waren zowel de handoeken als wcrol niet aangevuld. Het persoon aan de receptie kan vriendelijk, maar wel alle complimenten voor flextours die daar inpandig zitten, deze waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

A great rest stop in the heart of the city”
I had a lovely time exploring the city on foot, though you can also easily rent a scooter or bicycle instead of walking. Everything is very clean and the staff are phenomenal. I took a great liking to young Miss Lucy. She happened to answer the phone when I called and handled all of my questions smoothly. In fact, all of the staff members are well-versed in client service.

This is an art deco style hotel”
I am a fan of art deco so I appreciate the style of this hotel. It has aged and that should be expected. The rooms probably need updating but they are clean and comfortable and if you need somewhere comfortable fit for purpose. The staff incluiding cleaning crew are always making sure your room is at a standard you are happy with. The prices are extremely competitive. The hotel is based in queen street the main fare of Auckland so everything is close Highly recommend

If you are looking for 5 star luxury hotel with pool and all the facilities then this is not the place for you BUT... if you are looking for a clean place to stay right in the middle of the city with helpful staff, clean toilets and a good reasonably priced restaurant for breakfast and dinner then this place is the place for you. We (my sister and 6 year old) stayed there for 13 days and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

I would definitely recommend booking directly with the hotel, not through Agoda.com. My travel plans changed 11 days before I was meant to arrive at the Kiwi International Hotel. I had paid for 3 days accommodation but ended up only staying 1 night. Due to Agoda.com's cancellation policy there was no refund at all for the 2 days paid in advance. Buyer beware !

I am a repeat business traveller. Always stay here now because of the value for money, the cleanliness and the nice staff. The building and facilities are dated but this gives it a certain kind of charm and for the price, it cannot be beaten. The beds are very comfortable and good size, the bathrooms are clean, the rooms are warm and quiet. Just minutes from K Rd, Queen St, the airport bus. Its location means you can get anywhere with ease, using public transport or walking.

Staff are very helpful and courteous. Good location , perfect for exploring Auckland by foot. Just beside the Queen Street. Big spaces and super clean room. Provided with small heater during winter. Value for money as we only stay in Auckland if you don't mind no other facility with just room , dining hall and car park.
