dit hotel staat in het centrum van manchester, erg goed te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer. op loopafstand van cafe's , winkels en bars. het hotel heeft mooie kamers en heeft sóchtends een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. services is ook erg goed, als je iets vraagt krijg je een goed en duidelijk antwoord. het hotel is zeker het geld waard.

Goede locatie, goede bedden, weinig sfeer, heeft een renovatie nodig, ontbijt net voldoende maar geen feest zowel qua ruimte als aanbod. De hele entourage is enigzins deprimerend: een betonnen kolos. Voor hetzelfde geld zijn betere hotels te vinden.

Great MCR hotel”
The Mercure is centrally located so Chinatown, Gay Village and the Northern Quarter are all just a couple block walk. Plus, we came by train, and Piccadilly Station was only half a mile away too. The hotel itself is clean, in great condition, and the rooms comfortable size. The breakfast was really good, and our room faced Piccadilly Square -- offering a view. Perfect place to stay in Manchester.

That lady receptionist by the door on the 23rd of July was really nice and helpful. Room was ok. Air conditioning keeps turning on and off by itself. And could do more snacks. There was 2 of us and only got 1 packet of biscuit. And more brew selections. Other than that enjoyed the stay with this hotel. Thanks

A hotel stay spoilt ”
Two aspects spoilt the stay, one, a lunatic black woman in the restaurant, to which the old bill were called out to. Two, noisy people in the next room. Staff were good though. I realise saying it how it is will not get this published in UK

The check in staff (Richard) was fantastic and got us checked in nice an early. The room is small (like most hotels in UK) but was satisfactory. However, the bed was really soft and was not comfortable for 2 people. Location is very central next to Piccadilly Garden for the trams, but request not to get a room facing the trams as you will get the bell noises from them throughout the day & night.

Refurbished clean room except for bathroom (it’s the old one, tired but still function). The hotel is in the city center, walking distance to everything. Parking 24 hours for £20.

Cracking location, the room we had was like a prison cell. Not modern at all and felt damp. Such a shame as this was for a mini moon and hotel didn’t seem bothered. Breakfast decent and good choice. Overall ok shame it wasn’t great.

Bathroom was is poor condition with rotted door frame, worn bath, damaged floor tiles and in need of significant maintenance. Power sockets needed closer to bed.
