Great location with free parking. Breakfast very good, including coffee which is often poor elsewhere. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel itself a little tired.

Potential for a nice place ”

Run down, carpets not attached and trip hazard, building falling to bits. Kettle without a top and one mug supplied, no towels, stains on bed sheets and walls no thicker than the stained sheet. Want to travel back to grandma time for decorations, this is the ghetto. Ruff sleep for cheap business, wouldn't suggest a romantic get away

Dirty smelly hotel”

Upon arrival the lobby is ok, they then sent me to a separate building that looks like it's due to fall down. It honestly feels like a crack den as you walk through the corridor. The room stank of smoke so much so that it was even ingrained into the sheets. Paint and wall paper are pealing off the walls all over the place. The only positive experience was that the shower had decent flow and was hot

Comfy beds and close to Sale town centre, only con I have is that there were spider webs across the ceiling and near the furniture that I had to clean myself.

Good location. A beautiful building which needs a lot of tlc. Our room was in the extension overlooking the unkempt garden. Bedding & towels clean. Bed comfy. Shower had dirty tiles. A spray of bleach would have gotten it clean. Bathroom floor needed sweeping. Bits in corners. Toilet roll of poor quality & half used. Window opened wide enough for a child to fall out.

Horrible stay”

Paid for superior double room when we got there the TV or kettle didn't work in the room so was moved to a standard double which was dirty and smelt funny but at least things worked. Went to make a cup of tea in the morning was only 1 cup that smelt like fish, couldn't get anyone at reception to get us different cups. In a nice place in quiet location that's the only good thing I can say about it

Lovely oldy worldy style building. We stayed in the extension. The room was cosy and tasteful. The grounds were beautiful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I’d stay again!

Avoid - we did not stay ”

Booked to stay here for 1 night. Mixed reviews but overall score was 8 out of 10 on Trivago so we expected something half decent. The place is very run down and in need of immediate regeneration. The room we were given was in the annexe building overlooking the rear carpark. The windows were so dirty inside and out you could not see out of them what so ever. There were stains all over the bedding, on bed runner and on the headboard. The window sill was all mouldy and flaking paint and dirty. The walls were dirty with stains all over. The carpets and rug were filthy. The bathroom ... Mould everywhere and filthy. We walked in looked round and came back out as there were no way we were staying in that! Informed reception and no surprise on their face when we told them. No effort to make us stay or anything.

In hindsight,I should have reserched the room options necause we were put in the annex which was ok,but I think that some of the rooms in the main house would be very nice.

Hidden Gem !”

An absolute hidden gem, Set in a tranquil location just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport and 15 minutes from Central Manchester. Public Transport links are on your doorstep and there is ample free parking. The rooms are new, modern and fresh, with extremely comfortable beds, and there is also a Fridge and Microwave. The full English traditional breakfast is a must, and is served by two lovely ladies who's attention to detail is exemplary. Would strongly recommend the hotel as it represents excellent value for money!

Charming house with very good service. The staff was always helpful and the location was beautiful and quiet. Great for your peace of mind. Only negative aspect were that the bar was closed and they didn’t offer dinner.

We arrived and were taken to a room out the back of the building. Very dark, dated room with extremely thin walls right next to the carpark. Good shower facilities but I felt like the online photos were not a good representation of the stay

Lovely functional hotel on the outskirts of Manchester. I loved the free parking, lovely bedding and the microwave and mini fridge in the room. The breakfast was very basic with very limited options. A major letdown was the lack of halal options.
