Found the hotel to be very comfortable but was upset there was no lift to the 2nd floor for our heavy luggage. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, especially when we discovered we had accidently misplaced our credit card - she made lots of calls to verify where it had been left prior to us driving back to retrieve it. Room was spacious and comfortable. View out of the restaurant was breathtaking and the lounge area very inviting and comfortable, especially with the book selection. I enjoyed the massage and spa experience in the hotel's spa area. Late checkout was very helpful for us prior to getting to the airport. Would suggest that a more prominent sign be put up so drivers are aware of it 200m in advance because it is a sharp steep downhill turn into a narrow set of gates on a blind ccorner.

Spectacular outlook”
Hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Bed and pillows werent very comfortable but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay

Suprisingly Incredible Stay”
This was such a great stay, the photos don't do the place justice. Staff are incredible and helpful; restaurant is good; the spa and sauna area is a lovely bonus. We we're so impressed with our stay, we wish we had more nights booked in here

The views, spa, sauna etc. were fabulous. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The location is perfect - close enough to everything yet far enough away from the noise.

Made Our Queenstown Experience.”
Loved our room, its river view and tub on the deck. We also chose to eat in daily as we really enjoyed the meals and cocktails.

Very nice hotel with unexpected facilities. Nice and helpful staff. Room was big, clean with a nice view on the river. Overall hotel is a bit outdated and because of that charming. We would book again the nugget point hotel!

Getting a bit tired”
It’s a number of years since we stayed here and it is a beautiful setting. However, it does need a bit of a revamp. The staff seem to be stretched and are constantly apologising for delays but are doing their best. One of the beds was very uncomfortable and the two bedroom unit has massive living but little kitchenette facilities. No microwave yet full cutlery set but only one dinner plate and one small plate. Restaurant food was excellent. The facilities for the complex were also excellent but the small things in the room let it down - I guess they want you to use the restaurant.

Cute little spot - prime location and close to CBD. On the same street as Onsen Pools, the hotel has its own hot tub experience as well. Walking distance to Cargo Bar and Gin Garden. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent too, we had the steak and venison. We opted for the Riverside room - the views were stunning to wake up to! The bathtub/shower in the room had a step to get in and out, which would be a bit challenging if you are not as able. There were visible palm prints left on our bathroom door when we check-in, not a huge biggie. Their front gate fell off the hinges due to rust and was left by the entrance as you turned in, got a bit of a shock we drove in to try to avoid it. All around an enjoyable stay!! Will recommend.

Recommend room with View to the Shotover River - it is amazing. If you are wanting quiet hotel away from busy Queenstown then this hotel is for you. Staff are lovely and very helpful

We wanted to stay out of Queenstown and this accomodation was a quick 10min drive from the city centre. The spa facilities include a salt pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room complimentary use in your stay, which was great after hitting the slopes. But the rooms themselves are extremely dated and in need of a good renovation. Beds and a lot of the furniture were extremely worn. Heaters are quite old and views are nicer on the river side. This is not a place if you’re looking for outstanding rooms but if you’re simply happy using the spa facilities after the snow, this place is great.

There was a dead bird on our veranda in front of our sliding door when we arrived.👀 It looks like it’s been dead there for a while.🤢 Had to get somebody to clean it up. Also leaves everywhere on the floor. Room had a lot of spiderwebs. I was having a bath then got put off from the view of the toilet how dirty the toilet was next to the bath tub. it immediately put me off from my bath. When We wanted the house keeping to clean. They would miss our room. But when we don’t need them. They would go in our room and clean. It didn’t make any sense to us. 🤷🏻♀️ But The room was spacious. The food was nice. And pool was nice.

A good hotel we had an excellent room however hotel is located 2 miles from town centre and parking is not easy. The stall were very helpful.

The rooms with view of the Shotover River is highly recommended., otherwise you might as well stay closer to town. We had a tub on the deck which was a huge drawcard. Room was quite dated and tired for how much we paid. Parts of the hotel were styley but then other parts were in need of renovation and tidy up. Restaurant had no one else in it so didn’t bother the second night. Staff were all very helpful.
