The place is nice and the location ia perfect. Confortable beds, clean room, very nice receptionist (Dan). However, the bathroom needs to be remodeled, renewed, painted and a real, deep, serious cleaning.

Our stay at Queens”
We stayed on 15 September 2021. The guest house is very basic but perfectly adequate for a place to stay. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. My room wasn’t ensuite but the bathroom was very close by. Clean towels, kettle and tea and coffee are provided. It was about a half an hour walk from the city centre. Would stay again if I was looking for a good deal.

My room had a lock that came off in my hand when I opened the door, a TV that did not work. It also had a window looking out onto a landing that wasn't covered. The blind for which was under the bed. I went to speak with the person at reception who came up to assess these issues. He said he would be back shortly to let me know if he could get my room changed. I sat waiting for over 2hrs. He never came back neither did anyone the following day. I have stayed here before and was somewhat happy with it as it was a much better room & it's proximity to the event I was attending was less than a mile. Very disappointed this time!

I didn't see any member of the staff, but I called them to provide me with extra sheets since the one I had in my bed was clearly overused and old and had traces of hair. The sheets weren't delivered before I went to sleep, I picked up my food at 22:30 so I know the sheets werent by my door at that time and I only saw them in the following morning at the doorstep when i didn't need them. I ended uo going to the hospital 2 days after my staying because I have been beaten by somthing and my little finger was completely swallon up. wheteher it was from Queens House I can't comfirm but its certainly alarming. Not everything is bad though, the location is amazing, the shower is top the room seemed clean and tidy it were only the sheets that were in at a horrible conditio. Queens House could be amazing if they manage to keep their sheets clean and renovate them from time to time because at the end of the day its a BMB so it should provide costumers with a clean bed to sleep in.

Very basic room in large building ,shared bathroom which was fairly clean but tatty , kettle n tea etc but that was it , people had obviously been smoking in the room and the curtains had cigarette burns in them , tv in room did not work , window onto landing no curtains and light on all night , this along with the noise from other guests made sleeping very difficult , not in a nice area and a fair way out of the city centre. , would not recommend

The room were very cool as it has got very small radiator and early morning they have been turned off central heating and room was freezing, no double glazing and could feel draft in room . Also there was not any sort of heating in bathroom which was in hallway and it was absolutely freezing, exertion cable was running on side of room which they use it for TV , in general don’t recommend special in winter time

We paid £500 for a triple room, I had a cracked sink, no bath and mould in the shower. Biggest waste of money I think I’ve ever spent.

Worst night experience, beds were creaking all night long ,no drinking water around,no staff around,freezing no heating especially when put in the attic!! broken mirrors in room,there's nothing good to say apart from having a roof on our heads for the night.Dont recommend this place whatsoever!

When I went there it was stormy night the staff despite of booking even did not let me inside door I was not rude nothing they were extremely rude I was crying I begged them let me wait for my taxi inside it’s not safe outside they said rudely no and I waited for my taxi for 20 minutes on u safe windup road as soon as was in taxi I asked to any nearest one do I am safe they even are refusing to refund me whenever I ring staff is extremely rude I want my money back and they don’t deserve one star which I have to give as u cannot skip to next step can I have my money back
