Lovely hotel and helpful staff”
We’re loving our stay here. Pros *Check in the Greek guy at the reception was super kind *Bed linen soft, pillows nice and fluffy, bed super comfortable, room service impeccable. *They gave us free upgrade from Superior to King Deluxe, room having good views over the city’s *Spa included, nice and new pool, steem room and sauna included without extra charge. (Treatment under surcharge). *Hotel located perfect location *Usb and Uk plugs on the bedside Cons *Nothing. All good, at the end is what you expect from 5* hotel. Breakfast for £25 is crazy having millions choices around, try federal caffè amazing breakfast and brunches. They did offered us £18 breakfast if you pay at check in. Room has minibar but £4.50 for a can of Heineken ? No thanks . I think is good you have the option of having minibar but if you had cheaper prices more people would use them. In room food a la carte prices where reasonable and only £1.50 extra surcharge for a room service wich is ok .

Best hotel in Manchester ”
Our first time at this excellent hotel; just an overnight stay for a concert. We paid £88 for room with king-sized bed & did not opt for breakfast. The room was exceptional for the price, being spacious, clean, and with the extras that help things along. We ordered room service late and the food, too, was very good, and the price wasn't bad either. All the staff we had dealings with were fantastic. The hotel has a pool / spa / steam / sauna. Always a nice bonus, we feel. Initially we were sad to see the previous Free Trade Hall turned over to use as a hotel, but this stay vindicated that somewhat. This will be our hotel of choice when we visit the city.

Found this hotel through Agoda at an unbelievable price....found check in a bit underwhelming as it was very noisy and took quite a while. We had requested a twin as I was travelling with a friend and was allocated a double....queried this and was told that they were overbooked on twins and because I had booked via a third party that i wasnt guaranteed what i had requested...however...the lovely man upgraded us to a room with the most fantastic view over the city with the biggest bed ever! Happy days! Mini bar was extortionate...but arent they all?! Room service however was very reasonable and we used this when we got back from our gig and the food was beautiful. So with that little hitch out of the way, the rest of the stay was just perfect...room amazing, breakfast probably the best I have ever had whilst staying in a hotel and the staff were outstanding...definitely my first to go to hotel in Manchester!

Simply wonderful”
This is a simply fabulous hotel, excellent location for Oxford Road station, easy walk to the Arena (the purpose of our visit) and we were really impressed with the hotel facilities. The restaurant is superb, we ate at 10:30, the staff were superb. Spa is again really high quality with lovely extra touches around the pool. The room is a very good size, very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for 2 nights after arriving from East Asia. Was charmed by the British Elegance of the place, the facilities are simply beautiful with close attention to detail. Clean and very neat. The breakfast was complimentary and of a very high standard and selection. Staff helpful and friendly. Gym and pool clean modern and functional .... definitely coming again x x x x

We were upgraded to the top floor with an unbelievable view. Barnaby & Alicia as well as all staff we encountered were exceptional & made out stay so comfortable. This is definitely one of our favourite hotels now & we cannot thankyou enough for making my birthday so special. Nothing was too much. Can’t wait to stay again.

Booked this hotel for me and my wife, we were going to see strictly come dancing at Manchester Arena. The hotel is situated perfectly to get around the city and within easy access to tram and free shuttle bus services. Very friendly staff and immaculate clean hotel. Would definitely be returning...

We've just had a superb stay at the Edwardian for a Manchester wedding. The hotel is amazing, we had a free upgrade to a larger room with an amazing view of the city skyline. Service and attention from all members of staff was first class, they couldn't do enough to make sure that our stay was an excellent one. Breakfast was delicious, the facilities and the building itself were just stunning. All in all a fabulous stay at a fabulous hotel!

The room was so clean and modern, a lot bigger than what we were expecting. Perfect location to everything and anything. Breakfast staff were fantastic, a man named Raff particularly stood out definitely made the stay perfect. Will be returning.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We had a gorgeous meal in Peter Street Kitchen and we’re served by the delightful Finead who helped us choose the best dishes and wine. I cant wait to see the newly renovated spa and will definitely be back for another stay in the future.

We got a great deal that was advertised as including breakfast. After an initial tussle to get them to honour the complimentary breakfast we had a great stay here and I would highly recommend the place. In fact it’s our new favourite hotel in Manchester. The only issue we had was the length of time it took them to agree that we should get the complimentary breakfast they’d advertised...

Fabulous hotel in a great location. The room was great,very spacious with a KS bed and a huge bathroom. Nice little extras like a Nespresso coffe machine! The free breakfast was delicious and a big bonus as it was unexpected. All the staff from reception,concierge and restaurant were very courteous,helpful and pleasant. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends and colleagues!

Had a lovely stay but make sure you have your booking confirmation they tried to make me upgrade to breakfast that was all ready included at check in and then and check out said I had to pay for the room and breakfast despite it being a prepaid deal! Staff were great and sorted it out and it did not ruin our stay!

Wonderful centrally located hotel , elegant decor, spacious, well designed rooms, and exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff, from the doorman to the housekeepers. Did not use spa or have dinner. Breakfast buffet choice was excellent. Would definitely use this hotel again and I have already recommended to friends. A lovely stay.

Fabulous break away from the day to day in this excellent hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful & so welcoming without being over-bearing. Very impressed by attention to detail & the birthday cake patisserie in our room on arrival was a lovely surprise.

Very smart clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet room. Would have preferred fresh milk in the fridge not UHT minipots as one had gone sour. Overall excellent stay.

50th Anniversary”
Better than The Lowry! Beautiful combination of new and old, just lovely. Amazing reception, dining and Spa areas. Lovely room with excellent facilities only marginally tainted by the worlds most useless iron! Definitely be the only venue for us when in Manchester.
