Even though we went through the Covid-19 lockdown there the staff were supportive and understanding. The restaurant was on takeout only but the Countdown immediately behind Sudima had everything we needed to make up the extra meals. Nice showers and the beds are comfortable. We watched the country lockdown on telly and flew out on one of the last domestic flights. Great team at the Sudima in Christchurch.

Beautiful hotel ”
I have stayed here 3 times. The staff make this hotel. It’s also very ‘kiwi’, attention to detail, not little plastic bottles wasteful plastics. All refillable body wash shampoo etc, glass bottles of water where they recommend that you refill it with the wonder Chch water. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Big speaxios clean rooms. Highly recommended ++++++

Room great, bathrobes, slippers, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillow. Great blackout drapes and no noise . Astounding value for a captive audience. Our flight arrived late from Sydney and got to hotel after 1am. Such a good experience, highly recommend.

So close to airport terminals, with free shuttle. We had a 6.55 am flight, the shuttle was so helpful. Nice and clean room, and most of all, very friendly staffs.

The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was horrible but everything else was great. We arrived about 10pm and left 3.30am. Getting a shuttle was easy. Thank you

Perfect location for Christchurch Airport”
Lovely place to stay. The staff were brilliant even though they were having to deal with the effects of the lockdown from the COVID-19 virus. The restaurant was closed but room service was available with a limited menu. Would have been great to have an elevator though as my bags were a bit heavy.

We had a wonderful stay at Sudima Christchurch. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous and the room had ‘extras’ that made it a special stay such as a coffee machine, lighted mirror and ‘Alexa’ Proximity to the airport makes it a great transit stop.

Housekeeping needs improvement”
Great location and quick shuttle service to airport. Warm welcome at reception. Housekeeping needs more attention though - my room was not cleaned at all on the second day! Not a big deal, as I was leaving early the following day anyway. Room Safe was locked when I checked in. I did not use it, so I only mentioned it to hotel when I checked out.
