Acceptabel”

Oude kamers. Ontbijt stelde niet veel voor. Er ontbrak bestek. Je kon geen brood zelf pakken. Je kreeg toast. Electriciteit moest je verbinden met extra contactdozen. Geen nachtkastje en lampje. Er waren lampjes kapot. De deur van de badkamer kon niet dicht. Onze kamer fungeerde als nooduitgang.

Warm and good location”

The hotel provides a warm and tidy room. The place is near to a station called ‘Sale’. You can get to the Old Trafford Stadium easily. For driving tourist, there are plenty spaces for parking. There is a B&M supermarket nearby.

Early check-in, happy staff, and comfortable bed................but the single room had the worlds largest round arm chair.....which consumed most of the spare space.

On arrival at 7.30pm, receptionist was helpful and pleasant and he gave us our keycard. No help offered or directions given to locate the room on the second floor. Room a good size and well furnished. However, housekeeping very poor overall. Little or no attention to detail shown - no mattress protector on the bed, no evidence of bedroom having been vacuumed particularly the skirting boards and carpet edges. The bathroom paintwork and floor was worse - clearly no management check the rooms. The breakfast room at 8.30 had just three other guests but all the tables remained uncleared from previous diners so space had to be made on part used tables. Breakfast was acceptable but not hot, and coffee lukewarm - the only hot item was the toast! The 'receptionist' on departure really couldn't have cared less and showed no interest at all. Sadly since we stayed there last a couple of years ago, the standards have fallen dramatically. I don't think that we will be staying there again.

Far for city but easy to access.”

The location of this hotel is far from city but it easy to access by Metrolink. I stayed in this for 3 nights. The Hotel Building is very classy. This hotel is really comfort to stay due to its located very quite. The hotel staff very helpful and nice. They clean our room everyday. What we most like from this hotel is B&M market next to this hotel :).

Basic, very clean, very friendly, very close to the Metrolink 2 minutes walk, and also 2 minutes walk from the canal for a lovely walk up and down. Plenty of classy places to eat nearby to suit all pockets. Easy access to town centre, about 20 minutes on the Metrolink. Fantastic place. Not Buckingham Palace, but then where is?

Perfect place to stay for few Days!”

If you coming to Manchester only for few days it is perfect place to stay! The rooms are well-supplied for any kind of contingency! Every day room service, low price, near tram station and next to b&m store. Guests friendly hotel's staff.

We Liked It!”

I booked this hotel because it looked like Fawtly Towers! The picture just spoke to me! Let's just start with the only negative. No elevator. If you have an issue climbing stairs see if you can book a ground floor room. We were ALL the way on the top. See that little window in the eave? The desk clerk took my bag up for me. Not something we're used to in the States. The room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was served in the dining room and you ordered what you wanted as opposed to the breakfast bars. You are just a block away from a nice street with lots of restaurants and pubs or just to stroll. Train station is very close also and an easy drive to and from the airport. FYI if you have to cancel your reservation due to travel issues you can not call the hotel and cancel if you booked via a travel site. You have to cancel through the website.

Except for the steep staircase up to my room, everything was perfect. And they did offer to carry my luggage up for me, so I can't complain. Breakfast was good, the place is in a quiet location, and very handy to the trams to the airport and to the city,

It's near from Subway. Two blocks. There are a four or five bar and in the corner is a supermarket. There room was beautiful and they breakfast it's so yom. We área social happy yo stay there. I don't hace any complain 😀

Clean and comfortable room”

I stayed in a single room , the room was spotless it had coffee making facilities, bad was comfortable if a little small . Breakfast Breakfast was on point as good as it gets the staff was always on hand to help

Only one saving grace!!”

The only saving grace to this place was the young female receptionist that checked us in on arrival. The rest was shocking. We booked a room for 3 people but was only allocated a small double room which had no room for an extra bed; there was a large puddle of dried urine around the base of our toilet, we had to boil the kettle on the floor; the walls were paper thin so we could here everything throughout the night including a woman screaming, a couple having a major domestic, the manager arguing with someone & threatening to call the police; & a group of drunken louts rolling in at 3am. And breakfast, well.....We didn't know if the staff were ever coming to take our order, there was no small spoons at all & we had to constantly ask for more cereal bowls & glasses for the fruit juice. The worst bit though was when they brought out supposedly clean cutlery and crockery to discover it still had yesterdays breakfast all over it. Oh & the seat of my chair wasn't attached to its base!!

Not suitable if you have luggage as there's no lift. Tough luck if you are in higher floors. Young adults mangling the reception . No one there until 3pm. If uyou go out and coming back before 3pm there won't be anyone to open the main door for you. Room is small for triple . Its more of a double room. Hardly any space if you want to open or pack your bags. Will have to lay them on the bed. Not recommended for families. Single traveller or couples might be fine.

OK, but some minor niggles”

This hotel, more like a B&B in fact, served my purpose for a two-night stay. It was not busy (twice I was the only guest in the breakfast room) but although the staff were friendly enough I got the impression of things being rather a chore. Room was a bit jaded and on the first night the central heating was set far too hot, with no local control for the radiator. I spoke to the manager the next morning and he had the heating system adjusted to a more comfortable level. The full English breakfast was good and the service quick and efficient. The situation I encountered when checking out was a strange one. I stood there with my room card for a full five minutes while a man (I assume a manager) and the woman at the reception desk discussed/debated staffing level matters in my full view and hearing, while ignoring their guest. The management really need to think about how they conduct their front-of-house business in future

Rude Receptionist ”

Not a nice hotel at all. Receptionist very rude and unprofessional. Breakfast staff far better and quite a nice breakfast. But that’s the only positives,hotel smelt,not clean and really bad damp in the bathrooms.

Faulty towers”

Arrived to be told of a mix up with our room. We had to use one the first night another the second night but this was Agodas fault??? The receptionist gave us our keycard and said there’s your room,we entered,I honestly thought it had been burgled,it hadn’t been cleaned. This was 5.30 pm. So the receptionist had a look for another room,it appeared that none had been cleaned. The receptionist repeatedly said she was sick of the cleaner,he was so slow,it was all he’s fault. I was getting a bit fed up by now and asked what was going on,the receptionist started shouting at me saying she didn’t like my attitude,no apology nothing. We’d traveled 3 hours,my 10 year old son was shattered,rooms not ready at 5.30pm. Anyway eventually got a room with loads of damp in the bathroom. Apart from the receptionist who was totally unprofessional the other staff were very nice and polite. But that’s were the good points end. Very bad smelly hotel. Do not use.
