Great apartments, in a great location ”
Came recently unfortunately for only one night. I love trying new serviced apartments instead of staying in hotels As I enjoy the freedom you get and the cooking facilities. Whitworth Locke hands down has to be in line with one of the best I’ve stayed in. And I’ve stayed in a fair few, in and outside of Manchester. From the check inn, which was quick friendly and welcoming To check out which was also the same I had a great evening and night, it really is a shame I’d only booked a single night. The studio apartment we had was spacious enough for two spotlessly clean light and airy and equip with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The high end appliances lend well to the room and it’s surroundings It’s a beautifully done renovation, I thought we’d get cold with all the exposed brick work but it was toasty warm. I can not think of a single negative for us, I would definitely recommend coming here! P.s the beds a dream 🤗

Whitworth Locke was in my opinion the best stay I’ve had in a foreign city. The hotel was newly renovated and the studio I booked was fully sufficient for a solo traveller at the end of a two week journey around Europe. Here are a couple of things I found excellent: 1) Internet speed - Great internet speed for a traveller who needs to be connected. Freelancers and designers would definitely find this useful with a >300mbps up and down. 2) Co-working space and cafe - Foundation cafe (in house) made excellent coffee and offered a good value brunch plates. The co-working space was spacious and designed well. 3) Location was excellent. It was walking distance to most attractions within the centre of Manchester. 4) Sustainability - Whitworth Locke is committed in maintaining and improving its sustainability through waste reduction and energy conservation. I would definitely recommend Whitworth Locke to anyone looking to blend sight-seeing, exploring the streets of Manchester and personal ‘chill’ time.

Fantastic hotel. 1st time back there since covid and it’s still the best place to stay in Manchester. Central for everything. The rooms have anything you need. Even if you just want to stay in and relax. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the bar/restaurant area is very relaxed. Looking forward to staying here many more times to come

This is definitely one of the best hotel I ever stayed. The room is clean, the interior is stylish, and staffs are all friendly and helpful. The location is quite near Oxford road station, there’s a walking distance to the centre, not a problem at all. I can hardly tell any disadvantage. I recommend it to everyone and hope for a chance to come back again:)

We have stayed here a number of times now and still can’t find a fault with the hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and spotless. Very central to anywhere you want to go. Wish all hotels were like whitworth Locke.

I booked this wonderful place for the weekend for my girlfriends birthday and I must say that it was a absolute win! We both loved it! The apartment was fantastic (although a little dark), the staff were so helpful and nice and the location was top notch!! Definitely would recommend for a nice getaway! Will definitely be back very soon!!

They had very little photos on the agoda site, but what I saw was enough to make me book a stay with them because of its location. Had no trouble finding the hotel, had no trouble finding the coach station which was about 10 mins (by foot), and very convenient to get to Old Trafford as well. Expected a clean and contemporary room given the outlook of the hotel but was absolutely mind blown by the facilities available in the room itself! We had access to a washing machine and dryer, oven, stove, toaster, dishwasher. Ugh, I loved everything about it. Oh except that check in was only allowed at 4pm. But that’s the only negative thing I have to say about the hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay. The staff were fantastic. Couldn’t look at anything and think that it was dirty or needed work. Cocktails and food were the best too. Definitely be back. So pleased I found this hotel. Only thing I could fault was lighting in the room for makeup and getting ready

We were so lucky to get the massive corner room , everything is so delicate inside the room and you can find everything you want in the room e.g washing machine, cooker, kettle, cookwares etc! We've throughly enjoy our stay and will defo come back next time

Beat pur expectations!”
Arrived at the location and it wasn't clear where to go. We were in a noisy bar which caused me to wonder what I had booked. Spotted the reception desk and a lovely lad checked us in quickly, pointed us to our room and as we headed down the noise vanished. Super little studio, loads of thoughtful touches. Light switches very random vs light location but a minor niggle. Awesome shower, kitchenette was great and allowed relaxing meals on a busy weekend. Bed was comfy, room was let down slightly by a very bright green led light on some piece of equipment. Unsure of a router or fire alarm. It lit what would have been an otherwise perfect room up all night! And a table/shelf on both sides of the bed would have been the only other improvement.

The hotel provides everything you need for long stay. Theres a full fledged kitchen and a heated hanger in the toilet where you can have nice warm clothes after bath in winter. Location is just by the road side bright and safe. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Studio apartment has everything you need very comfortable and modern but cool and edgy , would definitely go back :) it even had a washer dryer and dishwasher! The shower head was one of those really oversized ones , very relaxing shower! All in all really worth a visit. :)
