a "Best in Class"”

First, a note about the rating. When I booked the room the rating was 8.4, and, as I recall, this was the highest rating of hotels in Bacolod by reviewers. Now, I see the rating is much lower and this is due to a rating of 2 by a lady who gave a positive review. I think she mistakenly thought 2 was, "almost perfect" and not the penultimate worst case scenario. If we substitute a 4 for the 2, the hotel's rating actually improved. With only 6 reviews at the time, one score of 2 would weigh heavily on the overall rating. This small hotel has only 22 rooms, so great personal service is how it's done at The Northwest Inn. Any very minor issues were dealt with very quickly and efficiently with no fuss. I have only one small criticism, and that is the free WiFi. It was slow or non-existent on the third floor, and the owner told me they are working on that. In the lobby it was much better, albeit a bit slow. Two pleasant surprises were the complimentary breakfast, which I did not know about until after breakfast the day I left. Second was the complimentary ride to the port. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms quiet, the air con worked fine and all in all, it was a very pleasant experience. Don't let the rating fool you. My only reluctance in writing such a good review is that maybe next time I want a reservation they may be fully booked!

Great Hotel and Fantastic Services”

Northwest Inn is a hidden little secret in Bacolod. The rooms are basic,and safe but the service is completely outstanding. Everyone from security, front desk personal to room service take the time to welcome you and make sure that any needs are addressed. The hotel is in a good location and offers an excellant little coffee shop with delicious bakery cakes and pastries. It even has its own little Outside Club area to enjoy tv sports or just relax and have a drink at the end of a day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Bacolod.

i had a very nice stay in thos hotel coz of great accommodation. the room is fully furnished and so hygenic. the staff is well trained in intertaining guests for their gentlemess and kindness. it was a great experience in staying Northwest in Bacolod and a 100 percent of coming back to be there again in my future travels. thanks and keep up the good work.

Nothing warm and fuzzy about this place, the decor is stark, but the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The 'suite' was not really a suite, just one big room with an oversized bathroom The staff was great and the restaurant was surprisingly good for a small hotel.Personally i like more of a homey feel, the black/white/grey minimalist interior design was not my cup of tea. For example, there's a huge plain wall in the restaurant that would be a great venue for displaying some of the local art Bacolod is well known for. But that is far less important than the comfort, cleanliness and attentive staff that this hotel did provide.

Excellent”

The inn is great. I love our rooms. The only downside is the water shortage during daytime and I understand that maybe it is due to the high volume of guests. But please do something about it because you're a great place to stay after a tiring tour. :)

BASIC”

New room but minimal amenities. Bed and pillows were excellent, so was the aircon efficiency. Water pressure during my stay left much to be desired and hotel staff were not able to address it up until I was about to check out. Pungent smell of sewage in the bathroom.

Clean Budget Hotel”

Since I am travelling with kids, cleanliness is a big factor. The hotel were able to deliver that, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I could rate our stay 4 out of 5.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center but its in a more quiet part of the city. The room is big and clean and if you arent looking for anything else then this one is for you. I had a good stay and it was worth what I paid for.

fair and average hotel. the buffet breakfast is not included in the agoda reservation, but if you will reconsider their tariff rate, it was already included. i think this hotel is quite overpriced compared with nature's village in talisay city, which included among others several amenities such as free use of pool.

We went here a couple of years ago and it has deteriorated since. They need to do some repair like painting, cleaning, etc.
