Last leg of my Egypt travel”
A very good stay on the western side of the river Nile. I reached the hotel around 1230 but they let me check-in and the gentleman at the reception had a good sense of humor. Terrific view of Cairo tower from my room and it's a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I requested the travel desk for a Nile cruise with belly dance around 1800 in the evening and they arranged for a nice car to take us to the departure point by 1900. Thank you so much for your services. The bridge leading to Tahrir square is a few minutes walk from the hotel and the Opera metro station is also 5 minutes from the station.

It has unique location , amazing Nile view , good and clean rooms. Very fast check in and helpful front desk staff . Friendly staff . Poor wifi signals in rooms . We missed iron in room but laundry is available. No note papers and pen in rooms but we didn’t ask for it also . I recommend it and may repeat my stay there .

Great location with 3 min walk to metro station Opera , amazing nile view but noisy at night .rooms are clean . Staff are very helpful and friendly with fast check in .food is good with multiple varieties. Only we missed iron in room but laundry is available. Poor wifi in rooms . Overall great vacation we spent there .

Amazing location but slow service”
The hotel service is slow in almost everything, check in at the counter took alot of time, check out at took alot of time with only one staff at the reception. Breakfast was okay and the service is generally slow and the tables are very close to each others due to space limitation of the restaurant. The room was clean and everything was in place, house keeping staff are very friendly.

I had a great stay at Novotel El borg, the panoramic view from my room's window was stunning! At first, I wasn't satisfied with my room and the hotel rooms on the riverside were fully booked, but the manager in charge was very generous and upgraded my room to a junior suite and it was terrific. The location is perfect and close to many attractions.

The reception staff especially Maomen was very helpful as I had to extend my stay..The room cleaners were also good.However the staff in the breakfast restaurant were unsmiling ,unfriendly ,avoiding eye contact or greetings. Perhaps they are treated badly by the superiors or have worked out that tips are unlikely in a buffet set up. This is unacceptable in a four star hotel.

Wifi is so bad, its not possible to do business in this hotel Gym is pathetic. My home gym is better. 3 out of 5 ageing machines don't work. The so called gym is a small room Breakfast is not worth the money The noisy wedding hall behind the hotel is so loud that you cannot sleep there is no restaurants or eating places walking distance

Staff is not the best. The front desk workers in particular were aggressive and not into customer service. The room was small for the price and smelled bad. You can get a better hotel for a lotcheaper in this area.

The general attitude of staff was not very accommodating, if not rude. The toilet was leaking. If you want non-smoking room, you have to specifically ask for it. Otherwise they will put you on a smoking room.
