Great place to stay before or after Heathrow”
Oakwood B and B was great for a night before travelling from Heathrow. It was clean and I was very impressed with the lady who welcomed me etc. Thanks for the upgrade to a room with ensuite as it was empty at the time. Breakfast was fine and everything was great

A very pleasant and economical play to stay”
I had a very pleasant time staying at the Oakwood B + B. The lady who manages it is very lively, pleasant and helpful. She seems to really enjoy her job. Her son was also helpful in explaining where to find various things nearby (e.g. a bank, a launderette and the best restaurants). The cleaning staff were efficient and friendly, and breakfast was quite nice as well. Be sure to ask the proprietress for advice about taxis; she knows how to minimize costs.

A Good Bed and Breakfast Place - I CAME BACK!”
I was impressed at the care and attention the owners and staffs provide to their guests. It was a good breakfast and bed near Heathrow. It was not really an issue for the train station is nearby. The room is somewhat small but at least it has it's own private bath unlike many where the toilet is shared. Good English breakfast is served. there are quite a number of good local restaurants to choose from just outside the hotel.Internet wotks fairly well inside the room.

Perfect. ”
Had a 20 hour layover and wanted to escape the airport. Perfect choice! Great price as nearby hotels were over three times as much and still wrapped into the airport. Plenty of options for dining nearby and a stroll to the nearby park and old church proved delightful. I chose the bargain price and my small room was well fit and cozy. I had a great visit with the owners and a good nights rest and was off to the airport before the proper breakfast was served. I still managed a coffee and some toast. Will treasure the memory. Could not give the highest mark to hotel condition as it was scaffolded and under a bit of remodel construction though I did not experience any mess or noise to speak of.

Surprisingly an amazing B&B! very happy ”
I booked the B&B at short notice, My late arrival was well handled and promptly given self access, car park was available for free, my room was huge stacked up with everything sufficienty, nice and warm, very quiet inside despite by the road side building, very good fellow patrons I met in the breakfast lunch, very welcoming staff member whom did personalised breakfast to order, very nice clean place, absolutely no smells, very comfy bedding, I don't think you can get such service of this rates anywhere, very highly recommended B&B, must stay I am very impressed and will book again. Thank you

Handy for Heathrow”
If you just need somewhere to get your head down before an early morning flight at a reasonable price, this ticks all the boxes. The staff are welcoming, bedding spotless, decent fish and chip shop next door but one. Only problem for me that it was too hot with the window closed but there was traffic noise with window open - maybe we should have asked to have heating turned off. As the owner said, Its not the Hilton but it was fine for our purpose.

The staff emailed me before my departure and told me how to go to the hotel. It helped me a lot and made me feel ease. The room was really clean and comfotable. I ate traditional English breakfast and that was delicious! I want to stay that hotel again.

Easy to get to from the airport ”
They emailed me directly with great instructions on how to there.. I took the bus which was much cheaper than a taxi and really easy. Room was fine for the price and the breakfast was great. Great location at a budget price.

location not ideal”
I booked this hotel initially with impression that it is very nearby the heathrow airport but I was let down by its location. I sPent 16 pounds to get a cab from airport to the hotel and the next day I spent 9 pounds for the train from west drayton to paddington then to kingscross. Looking at the amount spent on transport, I would recommend staying in one of the hostels in London if you are a solo traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Room is small but I guess that's normal in London. Overall pleasant experience if you are ok with d location

Good budget accommodation ”
Good location close to Heathrow airport. This is budget accommodation for those looking to save money and not for those looking for hotel style accommodation. The owner is a lovely woman and as I was sick with a cold she went out her way to help us. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are more than adequate. The pub next door has nice Thai food at a cheap price.

Lovely house”
The booking was easy and confirmation from the B&B came quickly. The house was clean overall and very warm with a quaint cottagy effect. Staff were very friendly and helful. I wanted to give the maximum stars but some issues brought me to the rating I felt was fair. I would stay there again but, for example, cups in the bedrooms had been cleaned but still had stains in the bottom. I had to wash my cup before using it which is disappointing. We had a lovely cooked breakfast but a couple of spots of leftover something on my coffee cup made me look at everything more closely. I booked the B&B with Agoda but discover that breakfast is not included and we had to pay extra for that after arrival. Is that how B&B is these days? Overall, very happy and would definitely stay there again.

Were I to do it again, I wouldn't”
Disappointing and not terribly hospitable. We were not greeted upon arrival, were reprimanded by the hostess for coming down late for breakfast (as a morning greeting - although we did get to eat something after all but the damage was done in my mind) and were not-so-kindly asked to vacate the room in advance. Unfortunate since I love beds and breakfasts and have had wonderful experiences in the past. This one was shabby, the mattresses were old and saggy and, being located beside a (grungy) pub, was quite noisy to boot. In the future I will spend a little more and stay downtown where I am not treated as a child as opposed to a paying guest!
