I was traveling alone to Fort Lauderdale to visit my brother in the hospital and was looking for an affordable but safe place to stay in a good location and I did find it all here. The hotel room was very clean and the television had good reception. Within 1 to 2 blocks of the hotel is a McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, for coffee in the morning and a Winn-Dixie right up the street. A two block walk to reach the public access for the beautiful beaches. And not a mile down the road is Lauderdale by the Sea at commercial and the beaches where it has been renovated with lots of fun and lovely restaurants with outdoor seating! The negatives are the room and had a slightly musty odorBut the room was clean. They do have private parking for nine dollars a day which is very convenient.

I want to say first for the money not bad. There was just a few short comings but in the end I probably won't stay again. Here are the reasons: Parking fees I believe shouldn't exist and they did. If you had more then one car then you paid more for parking for the extra car. Only one car per room. Hotel not right on beach and perhaps that's why price wasn't bad. Access to the beach had to be made through the Ocean Manor Hotel a street away. Pool was closed for an entire day. I believe should have been closed for one evening and overnight. I didn't see the restaurant they were talking about in the hotel lobby. At the end of the day not bad for price but I like being right on the beach. Location was a plus you are surrounded by a lot of restaurants and things to do. The only other thing was that I did see prostitution and a lot of undesirables but to no fault of the hotel. I do want to say that other then the few things that I wrote about I did have a good time. So, that I'm grateful for. Thank you.

Nice hotel for the price”
Overall this is a nice hotel for the price. The swim area is nice and has plenty of seating as well. Elevators are very slow and the one in building M did not work for a few days. There was a majority of people smoking weed outside of both areas at night which I did not see appropriate for my child which is the only con of this hotel.

Suite with jacuzzi ”
Hotel clean and well localized. Small walk to the peer with all the shops and restaurants. The jacuzzi in the room was a real plus (even though the water was yellow, the front desk person said it’s the color the water of the city has).. :/ cheap price! I recommend I would most likely stay again!

I was so scared of bedbugs! This place was clean! No bedbugs thank goodness. The staff was very nice. They will hold your bag if you arrive before check in. The room has great layout with separate sink and tub area, but both separate from the bed area. The room had a fridge and mic. There is an CVS and supermarket 1 block up. The beach is 1 1/2 blocks in the other direction. There is a free shuttle along with med beach towels and chairs for guest use, you ask at front desk. Just be aware there is a fee on top of your booking price ($10? per night) for amenities plus a parking fee if you have a car.

My experience at this hotel was a pleasant one over all! ”
The only things that could be better is the shower heads being updated for a better shower experience. Also the $200 security fee be mentioned in the details when booking the hotel, so the customers can be prepared to pay that once they reach the hotel.

It’s all on the inside”
While the outside does appear to be a cheap motel, the inside delivers great quality for the price! Rooms were very quiet end staff was kind. We stayed in the Hilton Marina the night before our stay and our Ocean Palace experience beat theirs by a landslide
