First time in carabao island :) ”
I chose to go to this place because it is very relaxing and isolated from the crowd. I went here before i went to boracay because i wanted to experience a relaxing and quiet place to stay and enjoy the view. Everything was perfect for me altho their food is a bit pricey for people that lives there but it wasnt that pricey compare to usd. Their food is delicious and worth the try. The view from the room is amazing, altho u dont get wifi nor reception in your room, you'll enjoy it. They give you complimentary bottles for water and also coffee to enjoy :) The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I got the cheapest price since they just opened, and they have their own boat to get you from caticlan. Make sure you remind them about your stay so u can schedule your boat. Recommended for couples, or family that just wants private life.

this covid 19 presented opportunities for us budget travellers to indulge in a 5-star resort for a 1-star price. rooms are well appointed, the staff are nice and will provide you with everything you need. the pool affords one to do short laps. the sea below allows one to snorkel and view marine life and corals. we had a wonderful time in this island during our wedding anniversary, the resort is just one of the many things we could write about. come to ocean's edge when this covid is all over.

Property is stunning! From infinity pool to well appointed rooms. Rooms before presidential room and right in front of the pool offers best view(ocean villas) Watching the fishermen light blinking in the dark sea is as stunning as lookin at the stars above! Enjoy your sunset! Just a place for calmness and peacefulness! Food is great and the staff too! Cliff villas could be very warm specially when the winds is from the inland to the sea.depending on the season. I prefer staying in the ocean villas over cliff.

Very nice & awesome place in romblon ”
I visited there with my mother.(she is 76years old) for 6N7D. □Pros : New facilities, Everyday cleaning room service, Very kindly and friendly staffs, Free shuttle van going to San Jose's downtown(Sttart 1:30pm Return 04:00pm), awesome & beautiful ocean views, Clean & nice outdoor pool(Max depth was about 2.3m), Delicious restaurant, No crowd or noisy - very quite places, 2horses(white & brown horses in a tiny rench? or field? yard) Working distance & nearby beach(Only a few minutes-Very pure & clean beach :Lanas beach?). □Cons: Unstable Wifi connection. Very slow & easy to disconnect(owing to only 1 wifi tower not available to load and divide bandwidth for each rooms) Then, you need to move reception desk.but not too be late.(until 8pm) No CVS(Such as 7-11, but you can find very small store in front of gate)or restaurants around there(You just go to hotel restaurant until 8pm) a little mosquitoes at night(Recommend not to open door) I found a snake in the field. Availed of the resort's recent promo and had the best vacation ever. Our villa was very spacious at 40sqm. Furnishings were nice and the room was well appointed. The bathroom was humungous. Though lacking in hot shower we didn't mind as it is warm in the Philippines anyway. The staff were very nice and accommodated our requests. The pool was just right to do some short laps. The beach below was nice and the seawater was warm too. We will definitely go back for the same promo price.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Romblon. The staff were super helpful especially armand, apple and all the servers at the restaurant. The managers were also there to accommodate us. Our room was also upgraded to the cliff villa. There was a bit of inconsistency with the food but considering that it was their soft opening, it was totally excusable. We had free breakfasts and boat transfers as well. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay a lot. Hoping to come back very soon!

Superb Service from the staff, Luxury on a budget!”
True to its mantra, Luxury redefined. Muni-Muni Villa was spectacular. the birds roaming outside the villa is beyond words. you can hear chirping day and night. The resort is secluded and private. If you want to relax, it is the best place to be. Been to boracay for 7 days before this trip. and this is has been the best vacation I had. 4 days staying here at Oceans edge resort left me energized and ready to get back to work! Carabao Island has no electricity from 6am to 2pm. BUT Oceans Edge has power 24/7, Internet Connection is fast for island standards. Self Drive motorcycles is available for 400 pesos per 3 hours with free Snorkel gears. We had a blast strolling the whole island. the main white beach is comparable to boracay minus the people. We were the only one swimming the time we got there around 10-2pm. Locals are really friendly, maybe that's why even the staff are always polite and ready to serve. Some facilities are still under construction like the spa and the dive shop.

Pros - Very picturesque and situated literally at the edge of the ocean. Lots of beautiful spots. Very courteous and friendly staff. Delicious food. Affordable airport transfer (boat and van). Cons - Not the place if you are expecting jampacked activities, strong mobile network signal and high speed internet. If your goal is peace and quiet and a break from daily routine then this is perfect for you.
