A great family hotel”
If you have a rental car and looking for a family hotel with pool (indoor), then this the place for you. Our room was huge, had 3 beds in it. Staff is friendly, they can take care of you well. The buffet dinner is a good value.

A bit secured but worth the stay ”
No fuzz, clean, and elegant hotel. It is located on top of hill so view from room /balcony is magnificent. Staff is friendly, indoor pool is functional and does the job. Breakfast tastes good too with unlimited coffee tea juices western style eggs pastries as well as Okinawa style ramen.

Newly Renovated with the Best Employees”
I elected to stay one night at Grand Mer for nostalgic reasons. I've had to the opportunity to live at Grand Mer for a total of 12+ months since the fall of 2018 and the highlight for me is the professionalism and genuine kindness of the staff...and the breakfast buffet. I love the spaciousness and new look of the hotel and rooms as well! I'd recommend this hotel to all who visit Okinawa.

super nice hotel!!”
We stayed here two nights and got the slightly larger superior room. It was such a comfy stay!! and we were on the 13th floor so the view couldn't have been better. Especially loved the large sofa bed to watch movies on! Staff is also incredibly friendly. Only drawback is when the hotel is full, parking is hard and you have to wait in long lines, other than that our stay here was amazing!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Huge rooms!”
Beautiful view of the sea at higher floors, the rooms are exceptionally large even for the twin room. It is big enough to fit two adults and two children and the children can run around. Balcony is also sizeable although it is bare.

Okinawa Grand Mer”
A little disappointed. The hotel room and bathrooms have aged and need to be renovated. No A/C or Heat climate controls, only fans speeds for whatever settings hotel has established. Bathtub was very slippery and a tub mat should be a must. Also the high step in and out of the tub requires a hand bar to hold on to when entering/exiting the tub. No complimentary coffee, clock or even a pencil in the rooms and no hotel handbook either. Very disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Tables were dirty and almost everything that should have been hot on the buffet line was cold. So many items were always empty and not replenished unless a customer pointed it out to the staff. Only one tiny toaster oven for 100 customers to toast bread items and no microwave available to reheat cold food. Need a few extra additional staff on hand to clean tables, remove dishes and keep food items stocked.

Finest Four Stars Hotel”
I am pleasantly surprised by the top notched services offered by Meeks for ensuring I have a comfortable stay with my family even before my arrival. The room size is huge by Japanese standard, excellent cleanliness and high floor view the way I want. I can watch the sea afar from the balcony. The location is ideal for those who drive around Okinawa for it is somewhere at the middle and is accessible to many places of interest. It may not have a sea view but that's not important since we are often on the move. Parking is always available when I need it at the hotel. The breakfast spread is good but we get bored of eating the same things for 5 days. The hotel actually gives you discount voucher for you to eat at various eateries within the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Okinawa Grand Mer Resort.

Nice Hotel ”
Although I only stayed at the this hotel one night I could tell as the taxi pulled up this was going to be a very nice place. I arrived late and was worried I would not have a place to eat since this hotel sits on top of a hill and is sort of away for everything. I checked in and ask if the restaurant was open but unfortunately they all were close except for the bar, the front desk said that they do serve some food. I was very pleasantly surprise that the food was pretty good and local beer on draft was awesome too. The people at the bar was nice this was a great way to begin my stay at the Okinawa Grand Mer Resort.

Excellent hotel with Japanese tatami room at reasonable price”
One of the hotels in Okinawa which offer Japanese tatami room at a very reasonable price. Love the rooms. Super spacious and comes with balcony. Location wise it's on top of hill so it can be a little out of the place if you do not drive. Excellent service rendered by the staff here. Breakfast is really delicious too. They offer free shuttle bus pick up from the airport which is a major plus! THey can even arrange for rental cars for you. As we arrive late in Okinawa for DAy 1, we took their FREE shuttle bus to the hotel and arranged for a rental car the next morning.

Okinawa, my birthplace!”
My father was stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa 50 some years ago. My parents adopted me in 1956 and brought me back to the United States. I vowed to someday get back to Okinawa just to see what it was like. The concierge and the entire staff at the Grand Mer were wonderful. They arranged many tours for us and even provided me with a wheel chair my entire stay. My parents tried to look up relatives, friends, etc., but were unsuccessful. The concierge took down information from my mother and said she would do additional research after we were gone. We had the best service we've ever had anywhere. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

We were looking for a good way to end our stay in Okinawa. The Grand Mer has everything need to entertain. We enjoyed a great all you can eat and drink buffet with our friends. Newer hotel that is up to Resort Hotel status.

Most speak English, tour guide Ms. S was wonderful, very polite, kindly to guide us for okinawa tourS. I got tickets to Aqualirium, snorkeling, others places to see before coming to the hotel, yet she still help set private driver for us for a day. ( showed other option in cost and time with bus/urails) She would spend her time as long as you need. We had a good time in okinawa because of her help. Really good breakfast. We missed one breakfast because snorkeling, they let us use it for lunch. They have Western restaurant/bar. Laundry free soup from front desk. You have to pay for coffee. free tea. Room is very clean and roomy, bathroom is a bit small for big guy. but nothing compare to loisir. ( not suggest to book at (LOISIR)

Wonderful hotel staff, great hotel”
it was my second time staying in this hotel. i was traveling with 3 kids and a baby. the staff did everything they could do to provide the best service and help . i have been traveling to many countries and staying in many hotels, but staff here are wonderful person. and five stars are not enough for them. my kids like the hotel so much and keep talking about iif. my best gratitude to the staff that helped me changed my car's tyre which was flat at the end of our stay just before we left. i know it is not your job , but you did it for us. i really appreciate it. the hotel location was perfect to explore okinawa north and south . we had a very good time in okinawa.

Travel trip”
Beautiful Hotel. The staff was as helpful as any that I have had the pleasure of meeting. The view of the pacific was gorgeous from our room. The studio room was more then adequate for two people. I would recommend this to anyone that would be traveling to Okinawa. It was close to everything that we need to get too. Once you learn your way around this part of the island it was a breeze to get from this hotel to anywhere.

Great location for Central Okinawa”
The studio room is an upgrade to a standard room. Very good value for the money. Located in a quiet neighborhood unlike the Chatan area. Good location on the East side of Central Okinawa. Outdoor parking with several off property parking that the hotel provides free shuttle service to/from if needed. Lobby has a currency exchange ATM. Room has fridge, microwave, hot water pot, toaster oven and a good LAN connection. There are a couple of self service laundry machines on each floor. They also have a nice indoor pool.

Very convenience as they have free shuttle bus from airport and to American village. Enough it's not with frequent schedule, it's already good enough for us. Staff can speak well English...clean room and nice view. If you go Okinawa in winter and do not need to live close by the sea for swimming, this hotel is highly recommended with very good price.

Love the Japanese room style ”
I've been visited other 2 hotels during this trip to Okinawa. And this is the best hotel so far, they had free shuttle bus to American village and Naha airport. I stayed for 3 nights in Japanese room style- really like it. Spacious and clean room. They got a really good bath soap really nice smells. Information (Nicole) really helps us a lot! Can speak English and Japanese fluently. Thank for Nicole. Really recommended to stay here!

Amazing hotel for family or couple ”
The location is not as central as the hotels in Naha but if you are driving, it’s very convenient. The service here is the best we had in Okinawa, the staff pay attention to every details. For the price we are paying, we get a huge room with all the necessaries provided. This hotel really made our trip even better.

It was great.”
My family, two adults and 6-year old child, spent two days at this hotel. Overall environment was pleasant and view from the room was fantastic. Breakfast buffet was more than expected. Above all, when we arrived, we were welcomed by very kind and beautiful girls who can speak Korean. That made us feel everything more comfortable. We would like to stay here, if we can visit Okinawa once more.
