horrible bathroom experience”

* at the front desk i was asked to pay another 960P V.A.T. i told them that the total amount should be a thousand including everything this is how it's written on agoda they answer that they received booking on booking.com and i told them that i booked in agoda and show them the booking the booking number on agoda booking.com was the same. Eventually i paid the 960p extra because I did not have much choise. But the owner told me that he's going to write to agoda and booking.com right away about this. * the room is very nice with no tv but the 4g and wifi work very well. * the bathroom is disappointing if you use the shower the toilet will get wet and toilet paper soaked for 2,000 + v a t per night I expected a better bathroom. *make sure you have enough money with you because they don't accept credit card. * the place is really front line to the beach. * the owner felt uncomfortable about this incident with the VAT so he sent us 2 complimentary milkshakes. * warning: it's written inside the room "All food and drinks from outside are not allowed to be consumed inside old castle room bar and restaurant" * good news there is wifi reception on the beach area as well but the internet is extremely slow. *The food in the hotel's restaurant is in small portions and pretty expensive and not so tasty. * if you don't like dogs this is not a place for you as the owner has two doberman dogs. * the bed has no comforter so prepare to freeze . * i found the showerhead broken instead of changing it they tied around it a shopping bag. how pathetic is that? * the owner is very nice and accommodating. * in my first night i did not tackle into any mosquitoes which was a nice surprise. * the food in the coco loco restaurant was slightly better but still disappointing. *The bed is semi-comfortanle, the pilows are poor quality. * anyway you position the air-conditioning flippers it will end up blowing on the bed which is a very uncomfortable situation. * nearest coffee provided and cups

Old castle rooms are the usual. Nothing special. But the location is great. Right on the beach and just a short walk to centre of town. Now the best part. The staff here is second to none. Always smiling and ready to help. Even better are Mikel and Leah the owners. The treat you like family. Take time to make sure you are happy. They go the extra mile.

Great diving, friendly staff, very comfortable room. I had a great time there, the breakfast is great with German bread and cheese. Amazing location on the beach, great for snorkeling. I would go back again.

Lovely beach stay ”

I really enjoyed location right on the beach. From my window to beach was like 5 meters. Staff was super nice, decent drinks, good wine, good food... Room totally enough, quiet AC, wifi on balcony (thus on beach too) okay... I really enjoyed the place. I would love to stay longer and do dives!

The hotel has only 3 rooms which makes it more of a big family, and so was the staff, extremely helpful and friendly. The beach there is more suitable for local non-swimmers. It is so shallow that you have to walk and walk before the water even reaches your belly button. Next door is a very active karaoke machine. Any it was a great stay.

everything is perfect - perfect view - cleanest part of the seaside - chill place to drink under the coconut trees - near the market if you want to try local foods but they also serve meals in their bar - friendly staffs - they give you the privacy you want Shout out to Ate Flor you guys are amazing! All in all its a perfect experience! Will definitely come back with my kids :)

Awesome location on the beach... Rooms are adequate...not much storage... Bathroom...is ok if you’re a dwarf or a leprechaun No TV ...and wifi doesn’t work in rooms...only at bar...so take plenty of reading material.. Friendly owners and staff....

Perfect location, food was great and convenient and the staff were super helpful. however, guys, stop letting your dogs go to the toilet on the top floor outside you guest bedrooms or clean it PROMPTLY. It ruins the beach feeling when there’s dog turds and piss littered throughout the area you’re meant to attempt to walk and it STINKS!

Thieve/s inside the hotel! Room smells like sewer”

Room smells like sewer, No TV inside the room, our room got flooded by the rain on our 1st night and we asked the staff for a map but they don't have a map! So the staff just used a rug to remove the water but was still very wet til the next day. The worst thing happened to us was we just lost 20,000 pesos plus $250 US dollar. We have reported this incident to the owner Mike and Leah but what they did right away was questioning our story and told us that their staff will not steal our money. They kept saying that we probably just misplaced out money and almost sound like they were accusing us that we stole our own money in front of the police officers! Sound fishy isn't it? Because if you actually concern as the owner of the hotel, you will wanna know who stole our money and at least comfort their guest. But the owners were the one that dont even show any interest to investigate further and was yelling at me the whole time I was talking to them. Leah, the wife's owner removed the pillowcases and bedsheet as if we hide our own money there and asked us to show all our stuff in front of them so I showed all our stuff as if we are the criminals! We are not wasting our own breath for this crap to waste our own time on our vacation! We are both a professionals in Canada so definitely not a low life travellers that will waste our time making up story but we were treated like this in the Philippines! Owners and staffs were very sneaky and there is no way other people from outside stole our money. Whoever did it was just inside this hotel. Police did not really do anything when we reported the incident aside from asking us a few questions and drag it out for hours. Another funny thing was we just found out that only our room don't have safety deposit box. They told us that we should have asked the receptionist for safety deposit in the reception area! No one told us that! Another thing was there's sign in our hotel room that if you bring foods or drinks inside your room fr

Best place nearest to Quinale”

We booked the place during tha Spartan event in Anda. I was glad it was near the starting venue. The owner was accomodating plus the presence of his friendly dog and helpful security. Good job to his security guard who helped me carrying my things. Highly recommended in Anda! Value for money!

Right on a beach, which is very nice. Public beach next to Old castle can get very noisy sometimes when locals gather around. Pool table nice bonus while having beer or two outside. Food was okay but nothing special, sometimes forgotten orders too.

Останавливался о этом дайврезорте по одной причине - ДАЙВИНГ. На мой вкус отличное место. Очень маленький, семейный даврезорт. Тут всего 3-4 комнаты, насколько я понял. Владелец сам практически всегда во дворе и всем руководит. Номерочки простенькие, там минимум что тебе обычно нужно. Кровать, кондишка, туалет с горячим душем, чайник, шкаф для одежды и кресло. Все остальное на улице. А там Бар-ресторан, море и пляжик с белым песком. Купаться не очень удобно... мелко и при отливе вода уходит далеко. Меня это не напрягало, поскольку я приехал погружаться и пляж для меня вторичен. Вокруг в городке есть ещё много отельчиков и ресторанчиков, которые управляются иностранцами. В общем все достойно. Но ценник в других бичфрантовых отелях по мне так слегонца сумасшедший. Здесь так же можно взять в аренду байк и заказать тур по острову.
