Top place to stay in Tiraspol”
Highly recommended! This is an absolute gem: spotlessly clean, well maintained and fully equipped three bedroom flat (the third one, containing 3 bunk beds, wasn’t occupied) owed by a family living next door; the owner’s mother-in-low greeted and showed me around with smile - and even posed for a photo! Immaculately clean and tidy place - bedding, towels and kitchen tea towels fresh and ironed! Politely asked to remove shoes and wear slippers. Mine was a huge room with a balcony overlooking Lenin Street, with fast internet. Located three minutes away from the Dom Sovetov building, this place makes it a good base for exploring (I even walked to the Aviators monument and back!). One detail that made the whole experience very special is the fact I wasn’t asked for any money in advance, instead they just confirmed the rate and told me to leave money whenever I am ready. Would have happily stay longer had I not booked my next destination. Thanks a lot to the host family!
