We spent the weekend in Pittsburgh. Had a great experience at the Wm. Penn Hotel. Decorated beautiful for Christmas.

Beautiful hotel, great location, clean but the WiFi is terrible”
This hotel is a wonderful part of history and is extremely well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and nice. Something really needs to be done about WiFi though, it’s honestly the worst connection I’ve ever had in a hotel room. I basically could not connect to WiFi at all unless I was standing at the door of my room or in the lobby. I understand it’s an old building, but it definitely is a large inconvenience.

Disappointing”
When you walk in you really feel like you are in for a treat. The lobby is beautiful. They have done a great job of retaining the historic decor and feel of it. However, once you get to your room you feel cheated. The room felt very cramped, and it was hard to truly settle in to. The bathroom sucked. When sitting on the toilet in a normal fashion your back hits the tank lid and it makes a loud and startling noise. The water pressure in the shower felt like needles on our skin. The water also wouldn't drain while the shower was running despite it being open. The towels and wash cloths were rough, not soft as expected. The room was also very hot despite turning the thermostat down. We set it to 60 and we were still sweating. I would strongly advise against staying here in the summer due to his. We only stayed for one night, so we didn't feel the need to complain/request a new room. But we definitely won't stay here again. Rooms in this old building desperately need updated.

Dissapointed ”
This was a hotel that I had high expectations for, but if you're not one of the rich people bathing in money--it seems that deciphers partial treatment. The room was incredibly small, and the refrigerator didn't work/had a burning smell from the moment we arrived. In addition to an incredibly small room, maneuvering in the bathroom was a nightmare. I will most likely search for a different hotel on my next visit. This is one of my least favorite hotels I've ever stayed at.
