One of the best”
the rooms rates are affordable and worthy each cent. the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. have ironing facilities at each floor (no need to bring your own iron). the staffs are very helpful and always smiling. the location is at an ongoing developed area, but peaceful. right beside tesco so can shop easily. next to 24 hours 7-eleven too. only 5 min drive to kota bharu. 15 min drive to wakaf che yeh. 30 to 45 min drive to rantau panjang. go shop till you drop. one of the best hotel. 7stars.

Lovely hotel and lovely hotel management and staff”
stayed 1 night waiting for the morning train to jerantut, clean hotel, nice design, very friendly and helpful people - finding very quick a pragmatic solution even with misunderstanding regarding number of beds. very flexible (2 rooms instead of one, early breakfast, ...). for visiting kota bharu it is probably a bit far off the center.

Good location but inaccurate features”
I arrived in Kota Bharu at 5am on the overnight bus from Penang. The day after I was leaving on the Jungle train to Singapore. During my brief visit to Kota Bharu I wanted to explore the nearby temples by bike. This hotel appeared to fit the bill as it's location was close to the bus and train stations, only a 25 minute walk to the centre, advertised 24 hour reception and bike hire. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the hotel it was locked and no-one was around even though there was a sign saying 24 hour reception. Eventually the night porter arrived at 7am and apologised saying that he was tired and had decided to lock the door so he could sleep! Once checked in, I asked about bike hire and he replied that they did't do it. The room was perfectly adequate and apart from Tescos there are a few restaurants close to the hotel. If you don't mind walking then the centre isn't too far away so overall it's not a bad hotel. It was just unfortunate that the two main reasons for selecting this hotel didn't happen.

Amazing staff!!!!! ”
i just wanted to stay for one night, but finally only left after three! even then i only said goodbye, as i definitely wanted to go to perhentian besar. the one station hotel manager arranged everything for me. i did two trips to kota bharu and the surrounding area, and he also arranged my trip to the island and even called some resorts to check their availibility. whenever i come back to this area, i am looking forward to being a guest in this hotel again. it's a bit far away from town, but however... there are taxis and also - as in my case - really friendly people in the city, who love to help you!

Good location beside Tesco, but rooms are tiny”
The first impression about this budget hotel is great. It has colourful interior decorations (mostly bought from IKEA). Guests and staff can have personal connection because the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also okay although there was not much choice (toast, nasi lemak, fried vermicelli or western meal). The drawback is the tiny guest room and unavailability of fridge and wardrobe in each room. The rooms have same size no matter whether it is double, twin sharing or triple, so it is really packed if you stay in a triple room. But if you just need a place to stay for the night, the room will still be perfect for you. The hotel is also around 2.5 kilometres to Kota Bharu City Centre, so if you don't have transportation and don't like to walk, it will be quite a distance for you to walk on foot to the city centre.

Enjoy the trip”
Enjoyed the stay. Tesco shopping centre is just in front of the hotel. very convenient to purchase last minute items and snacks. 24 hours convenience shop also just next door. There also slight traffic jam during the weekend as Kota Bharu resident went out shopping at Tesco.

Worthy for the money”
This hotel exceeds what does it takes to be a budget hotel. Nice interior design, great location (near Tesco Kota Bharu and bus station) and not spacious yet comfortable room. The thing I like the most about this hotel is they provide breakfast.

friendly staff, nice hotel”
The hotel is clean and nice. It is remote from the town centre, and has the advantage of being in a relatively quiet area. The rooms are clean and of moderate size. It is located opposite the large Tesco building. Although the location is out of town, I did walk both into and back from town on the first day. Subsequently I used taxis. If you walk you need to be aware that much of it is on the road itself, and there are currently a lot of road works in place, so your feet will get very dusty. The hotel has a laptop available for internet use. They will prepare an early breakfast if you are planning to leave on the early train, although you should always allow extra time in case you need to wake the staff to prepare the food and open the hotel doors.

Reasonable quality & pricing for family trip.”
Reception was friedly and helpful. While the rooms are neat and clean. The room provide confort for a good rest after a long hour trip around the various locations within the ota Bharu town and surrounding. Very convenient for us to buy basic needs from the supermaret (Tesco) and other shops nearby. Would like to suggest that a small refrigerator and a water heater is provided in the all rooms. Water dispenser was not functioning well ie. could not get hot/warm water. Overall, I'm satisfied with my stay at the hotel.

Convenient but average comfort”
My main purpose of coming to Kota Bharu is to shop at Pasar Sitit Khadijah and Rantau Panjang. This hotel offers basic comfort, but one important thing missing is an elevator! I stayed at 1st floor and we have to climb up with our luggage and the things we bought. The hotel could improve the quality of their towel, bed linen and carpeting. Mattress, though sunken, is quite comfortable. TV reception is a bit poor, but aircond is fantastic. We found ants too, but not too many. Room size is appropriate, with 2 big windows.

Excellent service from staff”
this hotel is a little out of town but it only takes 5 mins by car and costs under 10rm to reach town. the rooms aren't as modern as hotels in large cities (ie kl) however the king bed room was spacious and clean. there is a large tesco and shopping centre across from the hotel which was very convenient for stocking up on supplies. we had to leave the hotel at 3am to catch the jungle train and the staff helped co-ordinate this and took us to the station. the driver stayed until the station opened at 3.30am to help us book tickets which was fantastic.

centralized location with easy access to the city”
This is our first time in Kota Bharu and Kelantan. The hotel exterior is nice with friendly staff. Check in and chek out were fast. Room cleanliness is acceptable although there are ants around on the wall. We have a comfortable bed and good sleep. The room decorations are mostly bought from IKEA which suit my taste. The location is strategic just next to Tesco. Also easy access to the city centre or to Tumpat if visiting sleeping, standing and sitting Buddha.

Average hotel, not a good location”
the hotel is quite a distance from the main part of kota bharu and is not very practical to walk as you need to cross the highway (or go under the it which could be dodgy at night). it was also a bit hard to find (even for the taxi driver). the staff were quite friendly and organized to our laundry with an express one day service which was helpful. the breakfast was a salad and tuna sandwich which i thought was a strange choice but it tasted very good. the wifi connection was not good in the room.

clean new hotel with friendly staff”
on our 1st day of stay,my hubby and i were pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of one of the hotel staff who showed us the way to the place that we wanted to visit by physically leading us on his motorcycle while we drove behind him! of course, the place is not too far from the hotel(about 4km away). we liked the sound proofing of the room where we stayed.we could hardly hear any noise from the room next door! the breakfast provided is of limited choice but we thought it was understandable as the hotel only charged rm 10 for it. one drawback is the drinking water supplied which was not replinished immediately after the container or bottle went dry. overall i will surely recommend my friends to stay in this lovely and clean hotel.

Good Location.”
We arrived hotel around 9pm, was afraid that there was nothing to eat. Fortunately there is a big Tesco just beside the hotel. We can enjoy a pleasant meal after a long drive from Kuala Lumpur. Good Location is the MAIN attraction of this hotel. The room is small and basic, not too old as this is a new shop-lot areas. Staff are friendly, breakfast is simple but not too bad. Hot & Cold water is free flow, Coffee & Tea is free flow as well at the Reception Area. It is quite a good hotel for short stay. Location is quite good as it is near to the town areas and some nice big temples. Surprisingly there are quite a number of Wat & Temple in Kota Bahru. We went to Rantau Panjang Duty Free shop as well. Found some unique chocolates there, Green Tea Kit Kat where you cant find at our International Airport. :)

Everything you need for a stop over.”
this hotel is a bit out of town (twenty minutes walk) and a bit short on roving taxis. however, very convenient for the train station at wakif baharu. for a short stop over it is fine and the rooms have all the facilities you need for a short stay. tesco is across the road and has a food court so you will not get caught out for a meal.
